Hi everyone! I spoke with Glenda today and she told me that she has sold her dogs to many of you and I was wondering what you all have heard about her and her dogs and what you think or what was your experience.

I have not met Glenda, nor purchased one of her dogs, but I do know lots who have and I have never heard a complaint from any of them. Glenda has beautiful healthy dogs!

Yes, they are beautiful, but the puppy she was telling me about has a bite issue and she is asking quite a lot of money for puppy with a bite issue--same price as the puppy that does not have a bite issue.

I have not bought from her, but I know many people who have and none of them have any complaints! All of her babies are absolutely gorgeous!

Hmmm....I would think that she would lower the price a little? Maybe since it's not a "health" issue she won't, I'm not sure. I know she lowers the price on dogs who have had hernias and open fontanels.

yes, by all means check the Breeder Review forum. There was recently a long thread on there. i would not buy a puppy with a bite issue for the same price. That puppy should be drastically reduced in price and if you plan on breeding, do not buy it at all. For a pet at a cheaper price, it will be fine.

Having a bite issue is probably the reason she's placing as a pet and not for the show ring. Having an underbite or over shot bite is not uncommon in yorkies. I would place a yorkie in a pet home if they had an undershot or overshot bite but it doesn't mean they are unhealthy. Her pet price is her pet price whether it be a bite issue or a color issue or whatever is considered pet quality and not for the show ring

Yes, I got more information on this breeder today, and it really doesn't set too well with me..

My apologies. I thought the OP was asking for opinions from owners of her Yorkies, but I reread it, and see that's not the case. Time to get new reading glasses.

No problem. I know where you're coming from with the reading glasses. Hubby and I went out to dinner for our 32nd anniversary tonight, told him we really need to start taking our reading glasses with us..Couldn't hardly read the total on the bill..
