I use Mane n Tail shampoo and a tresseme conditioner on my Yorkie. SO far her hair is very soft and pretty. Her coat is cottony and it gets matted so I need to use a conditioner on her.

I always use Johnsons tearless baby shampoo/body wash i nthe yellow bottle. My yorkies' hair is always shiny and I have never had to use conditioner. It really works good for us. I did just purchase the John Paul Mitchell tearless puppy shampoo and am gonna try this weekend. Will let you know how it works out. Everything else made my guys hair dull . I have a really think, straight more silky male and a thicker coated, straight, yet wavy female.

I use Fresh and Clean with oatmeal for Dexter....since I started, I haven't seen one mat in his hair (minus the weekend camping trip) I only brush him every two or three days...it has worked so well. Amber

I use people Suave shampoo and then use the Suave conditioner (the one that has the word Awapuhi on it). After that I work in Infusium-23 treatment and leave it in. These are the same shampoos and conitioners I use on my own hair. Anyone else tried this?

hey everyone... just wanted to say, gosh this is an old thread i started, never thought i'd see it come back to life, but glad it did... i did get some mane and tail. it's ok....i am still stuck on my coat handlers at this point... i like the mane and tail shampoo just fine for my yorkies, but the conditioner wasnt to my liking. so i used the shampoo with some coat handlers cond. and some coat handlers and petsilk diluted as a leave on . great results.
