| She got alots of good advise from several forums. Things were much better as I last heard. Sometimes the area is too hot, bright or noisy for mom. I, always suggest a contained pen area. Heating pads are my pick..the heat lamps are stressful for a mother IMO..no where to get out of the heat. Combined with hormones she can be very uncomfortable and want to move to a cooler, darker place. For a first time mom I keep the drapes closed and use a table lamp the first week or so. Some mommies thrive on noise and chaos, others are stressed by it. |

| Sorry to be the one to post the bad news, but I heard the baby boy didn't make it. So so sad but the momma knew. Incredible instincts these animals have. He was only 2 oz and the others were 9 oz so I think he wasn't fully developed inside but he gave it a gallant try. |

| sad news. i dont even know your friend and her dog, but i found myself wondering about that puppy off and on for past 2 days. sorry to hear. she can find comfort in knowing that the pup is in a better place now where he is a perfect yorkie, running and playing with other animals who have passed. |

| It is sad, But better that he died young than to find something out later on and have to be put down. Tell your friend we are all so sorry for her.
