Also, back to my other question that you have not answered? WHAT tests exactly are you having done that prove the dogs are purebred? I was not aware that AKC performed this test. Per your site, AKC backed DNA test, but those only prove parentage, they do not validate that the dog is purebred.
If that is true than my mistake. There is however DNA testing going way back in my pedigrees. unfortunately only on the Sires side due to AKC rules not requiring both sides to be tested which I think they should.

02 is the number of the puppy in the litter. That is from January

Well I wonder how recent those show breeders are saying the change took place then or if it's a missunderstanding.

So then there is no test to prove it. Nothing AKC backed as you claim on your site?

my daughter has a yorkie that carries the yorkie gene...even though her registration says she is a blue and gold yorkshire terrier....she looks mostly golden....she has had a few litters in the past...and she throughs standard colored yorkies as well as golden colored yorkies....

my yorkie is half standard blue and tan and half pure biewer(dad is from germany).....but on his registration he is blue and tan yorkshire terrier

by the way he is CKC registered....Continental Kennel Club....not Canadian

Thx I wanted to make sure and did look at the YTCA website too. I found a new Disqualificaton Directive which is probably what they were talking about: Yorkshire Terrier Club of America

I notice you offer full registrations rights on your puppies. Wouldn't you like to protect this "new" line you're attempting to achieve?

TY apparently that birthday was a popular one I know of atleast 6 breeders that had puppies on that day. Myself included.

sorry i stated that my yorkie was registered blue and tan....but i went back and looked at his pedigree and it says blue and gold....and his mom is black and tan, and dad is black and white and gold....so i really dont know how they came up with blue and gold...but that is how he is listed

I am not the only one breeding for this. My goal is not to have to have the highest price yorkies by protecting the line it is to share these beautiful colored dogs with whoever wants one. More being bred means a better gene pool to chose from. I wish she pooped gold...lol she is really adorable and has a great personality though.

I copied that right of his pedigree and not the registration papers. I am working in AR right now so I do not have the actual registration papers in front of me.

I will gladly sell you one that is nuetered and has limited breeding rights. I offer big discounts on that since I know you will not be competing against me.

LOL count me in also! But seriously I have been reading this thread since it started and I must say that OP has remained pretty cool throughout the thread and everyone deserves a round of :clapsmile this could have turned ugly but it didnt!
