If you're going to be evaluating your pups for show/pet quality be prepared to keep them at a least until 16 weeks old. Even then it's difficult to get an accurate feel for the true quality of the pup. JMHO

REsearch other breeders websites for ideas? Utilize a sells agreement that protects you and the buyer and the puppy.
Make sure you decide on an age you are comfortable with for letting the pups go.
You want to make sure they are healthy and have been wormed, and at least one set of shots. They need to be weaned from their mother.
Get a good impression from the buyer the pup is going to a good home.
Pricing take pedigree, pet quality, show quality, vet cost into consideration .
Time invested well that all depends I consider my time love well spent on my favorite animal other then the elephant and giraffe. I don't see myself being able to raise either of those. So I cherish time spent with my dogs.
Again research.
Some times word of mouth is all it takes when it comes time to find them quality homes.

I am just getting started breeding yorkies however I have breed other dogs in the past. It is better to waint til 8-12 wks of age (southeast tennessee yorkie adoptions does this between this age depending on size and health of young pup if we need to keep pup longer we will) before putting up for adoption. It is hard to say bye however if you are going to breed as a hobby or to make the breed better you will have more sooner or later.
