I would be scared to death...I'm so afraid of our babies getting into the wrong hands and then people get so mad at us for asking tons of questions. And then to think that people would fall for this just because they are wanting to sell their Yorkies to make a quick buck...People better stop and think and don't trust just anyone now days. I hope he didn't get any info from you. You know just to be on the safe side I'd call my bank and make sure everything is okay there too. You never can be to careful. Hugs Lee

You are so lucky you caught this scam. I can't believe how they write its always odd phrasing and that is a red flag in itself.

This happened to my friend with a boat she was selling. The funds she received were US Moneyorders that had been cashed years ago, washed and rewritten for another amount. They sent too much in funds, and instructed her to do just what they have instructed you to do.

I think the scamers need to come up with a better scam. Dont they realize how stupid they appear lol

Definitely a scam. It really just doesn't make sense to me why they would issue out a check for $2k when all that was needed was $1k unless it was a scam.
