| ![]() The pups look 'wet' still, maybe they are preemies. I would call the vet but I would be hesitant to take them out unless it's necessary. You really need to have some Nutri-Drops. Can you get them locally or does your vet have something? Make sure they stay warm. You should have the room around 78 degrees with a heating pad on. |

| ![]() I am on the phone with the vet now. The room is really warm - I keep trying to get them to nurse, but Chloe licks them so hard they fall off of her nipple.

| ![]() Sit there and hold each one on her... to see who can nurse....(even if you have to hold Chloe's head out of the way).

| ![]() The vet says to supplement. And if they arent feeding, etc by the morning to bring them in. She also said to get them to nurse if possible.

| ![]() Try to get the biggest one to nurse first. If any can, that will be the one. You may need to supplement and if they're preemies you'll not want to wait as long to get them to eat as you might with full term pups. Have you checked Chloe to see if her milk has come in? If not, pull and squeeze on a nipple, on one of the biggest teats, to see if she has milk. |

Missing Yoshi Everyday! Donating Member | ![]() i would wait to take them just try to get them to nurse....if in fact they are premmies i would not want to expose to them to any other germs especially since they have not nurse...the mother milk for the first 2 weeks has antibiotics in there to help their immune system...so it is important for them to get the mother milk...i hope all goes well...as i will be following this thread

| ![]() I have to get a better nipple thing, but 3 out of 4 seemed to take some of the supplement. The one was really good! How much should I give them? OR, as much as possible??

| ![]() I saw a teeny tiny bit come out of her two lowest ones (they were the biggest, so I tried them first).

| ![]() Get their tummy full but not bloated. You may need to gently 'burp' them. Keep trying to get them to nurse. It's their sucking action that will draw the milk down. They may need to eat every couple hours if they don't nurse. |
