a purebred AKC yorkie to breed with chanel would be best..there is a standard.. some people like to mixed breed with another mixed breed leave the yorky alone.. he is perfect.. but the second generation polo to chanel would be more yorkie and less maltese...probably cuter than polo if that is possible.. IN 2010 in my opinion

I agree, I couldn't have said it better myself. I just don't see any differances in weather anyone breeding a pure or a mix breed, I believe in a breeder being responsible in taking good care of the mom & pups as well as keeping them well fed and clean and finding good loving homes. I have nothing against the breeder who sold us our morkie Polo. I'm grateful that I found such a breeder for we are very thankful to have Polo. I found her to be very educated and responsible and takes pride in what she does and loves her dogs very much. She also breeds full breed yorkies as well, as a matter of fact her yorkie is having puppies at the end of June.

I'll repeat what I said - no one is against mixed breeds ! IT's THE PEOPLE WHO DO IT FOR PROFIT people have problems with - the shelters are FULL and that won't change as long as people breed anything and everything

| Hi Well I glad to see that some one was nice to this lady, goodness If you would like to breed your female yorkie 5 lbs is fine. Just make sure the male you choose is smaller and read up on breeding so you know what to exspect. You may have to have a c section no matter the size of the Mom, you will need to bethere for the birth no matter what/work/school etc your sweetie may need help breach births are common in yorkies feet first so you will ned to be ready to pul a puppy out if you have too. Buy a book on breeding first before you breed or goolge some imfo so you know the pros and the cons ok but 5 lbs is ok to breed. Hope I hellped you out, Thanks Denise |

| She asked if everyone thought it was okay to breed her 5 pd female yorkie to a Morkie!!! Everyone gave their opinions, that is what she asked for. I personally don't agree with intentionally breeding mutts when there are so many BILLIONS that need homes and are being killed every day. It is okay for her to just have her pets and love them as pets. If she wants to breed she needs to find good quality yorkies and research their pedigrees and genetics ect. I don't think anyone was rude or mean to her by giving her their opinions, she asked us!

| I undrstand your point, It's just she is new and I think some of the replys were a bit snippy, thats all, They would have hurt my feeling, I Think you can breed a 5 pound female that what she aske as well even after you guys had told her not to breed to a morky, Yes 5 lbs is fineto breed, nd yes she needs to look for a small Male yorkie. I will look again at your post on it, But I don't think I was refering to you anyway, and I have asked ? in the past but when people saw I was new they still ended with welcome to yt at least. You go back and read some were not so nice, sorry, I hope she stays on yt, there are alot of very nice people here, I really enjoy it, no hard feeling ok Blessing Denise |
