| You sound like a very responsible Yorkie owner. I congratulate you for asking the question and then listening with an open mind to the responses. I agree with all of the other posters. Your sweet little bit of Velcro is way too small to breed, but not too small to spoil and love! |

| I have had one litter and I am going to do anything to learn everything about my Yorkie... I have a 10 lbs Yorkie she is 6 months old. Her mother was 5-6 lbs she gave birth to four wonderful babies.. I kept two. I would like to know if someone would be concerned about breeding my large baby, I think she would make a great mother, but I am fearful that the pups will be large as well and I am under the understanding that a Yorkie by standards should not be bigger than 7 lbs. I am also a groomer and only breed Yorkies at home here and there... so please give me any advice for my notes... I will own Yorkies the rest of my life...so please help me learn everything. Boy did I spill a lot sorry... Last edited by nudiva37; 06-25-2008 at 07:06 AM. Reason: misspelled word |
