She did it all on her own Genie, Thank you for all your help. I didn't find all the ingredients for the pudding. But the vet told me to give her steamed rice, (good thing I had some ready) I warmed some up and she ate it along with a mix of dry and a little wet puppy food. 3 of the puppies are nursing the other are still looking for the nipple it's hard to get them to latch on when they won't open their mouth. I'll keep trying. Doo Doo's sleeping getting some rest. I bought one of those underbed storage container. I moved her and the puppies in the container put clean blankets and placed them in an extra bathroom with a night light. |

I've had all week off of work, and this was the only day I had to work. Go figure she would have them the morning I was gone. I'm just glad she did it on her own. I only worked 3 hours, but she managed to have them in those 3 hours I was gone.:) |
I know I won't be going any where, I had plans to go to my cousins birthday party in the mountains on the 4th of July, but Cookies due date is the nexst day. Everyone is kinda upset with me for not going but they said they understood! I think Cookie will be having her babies within the next few day or 2. She is due around the 5-7th. Her milk has been in for ever a week but her milk glands have gotten really full in the past 3 days. Her vulva is swelled. Her puppy/puppies you can feel doing flips in her, and she is very uncomfortable! She has really bad diarrhea and has been eating about 2 times what she normally eats in a day. She is very clingy to me and does not leave my side for a minute!:) |

Lola's Temp DROP! I'm praying I'm wrong and that she tied earlier and I didn't see it! I'm praying I'm wrong and the thermometer is wrong! Here are her temperature readings Wednesday 10 am 99.9 & 10 pm 101.1 Thursday 10 am 99.3 & 10 pm 99.2 Friday 10 am 98.4 ! She is only around 55 days today.I took her temperature again because I thought it was an error but it came back 98.4 again :( I honestly would be thrilled if this was July 8th or so that I know she is not too early. I am going to retake her temp in 2 hrs. I checked the puppies heartbeats and I still hear them and their kicking around like crazy too. I am leaving the computer signed on to YT and will keep updating any news.I swear I hope her temp is a little hotter when I take it again at 12:30 .Keep Lola in your prayers and pray that she holds those puppies for at least 3-4 more days. OMG that was BEAUTIFUL!!!! I didnt think there was sound until I put the volume up and said " Oh no! not this song!" it always makes me cry lol That looked too cute. he is sooo tiny! She is on my bed right now. Her puppies seem to have moved further down . But she is relaxed and not digging or panting but I can tell she is not comfy. She keeps stretching out her body on my bed and falling back to sleep.I have to start getting to bed early because I've been going to sleep around 1:30 am or 2 am ! Genie,Cookie,Lola & Angel |
Puppys are here Mia and puppies are doing well. She had 7 puppies but one had already passed over the rainbow bridge, by the time it was born. She now has 5 healthy baby boys and 1 female. 6 healthy little pups. She had her first pup and 2:05am and last at 4:50am. |

July pups I just delivered two little girls and a little guy today... Well, I asisted in the first two and did the third on my own. I haven't delivered pups in four years. I forgot how messy it could get. But all is well with all three and mom. I am watching them for a friend while she is at work. I will post pics soon. |

YorksmamaI will keep your little boy in our prayers and hope he picks up some weight:) Yes, thankfully she had them all very fast:D I just finished weighing them all and the smallest one is 3oz and the biggest 5.5oz. They are all eating right now, and mom is finally eating and drinking some water.:D |

Found out on Sat that Zoie did have a false pregancy. So just have to watch her with her hormones in momma mode. She paces with the small stuffed animal and its sad for her. I know she would have been a good mother. She had all the symptoms and now nothing for all this waiting. I hope she gets back to normal soon. |
Awww poor Zoie :( I feel really bad for her!! Maybe she will have some babies next time!:) |

I think 3 maybe 4 looking at the x-ray. But I had an x-ray done on Cookie at 52 days and they only saw 1 puppy. But now she is due anytime and I can feel atleast 2 and hear more than one heart beat. :) |
LIL BIT: I'll guess 4. looks like I can see 4 heads.... but there could be more tucked under toward the front??? I don't know!!! *S* YOYO27: So sorry to learn about Zoey's false pregnancy. My little girl had one large pup that died last year, and she carried around a toy for about two weeks. I guess they just need something to love and mother.... Best wishes for you both. |
They're here! July 4th puppies here! Two boys and everyone is doing great! It was so exciting, and being able to help mom deliver the first one that was breech was something. She was on day 65, so we were getting worried, but they know when they are ready or not and you just have to go with it. I did the temp reading all of the time, but it wasn't working for us....just had to wait for the "panting" to begin :) |
