| I have no clue what I'm doing or looking for. She came home one week ago this last Tuesday. I don't know what her eating habbits are like. But I have notice she'll only eat once a day, not in the morning only in the evening and she'll eat her whole bowl. I had seen her before at hubby's work and she did look smaller then, and besides now all she wants to do is sleep right by my foot where ever I'm at. Yesterday I gave her a bath and before putting her in the water I did notice some dry stuff on her thingy down there, maybe discharge ( I don't know) I read here daily hoping I pick up on the things I need to know and look out for. | Chloe's Vet Visit I just got back from the vet. Everything looks good so far. They ran her blood work and everything came back fine. I scheduled for Xrays next Friday. She is 5.6 pounds!!! She weighed 4.4 in January when she was at the vet. The vet wants me to make sure that she is eating a high fat diet. I asked the vet about whelping supplies - she said a box, some paper, and some towels. If anything goes wrong, call me. Well, I think thats all that I can remember for now. If anything I will post! Oh, the vet said that she wasnt certain that she felt puppies, but she did feel gas. I thought that was funny. The vet did say though that she believes she is pregnant - obviously

♥My Lil' Monkey Girl♥ Donating Member | Pregnant Yorkie!! Hi all! Im new here and wanted to share my good news with yorkie lovers like you! I had an appointment last Tuesday and they felt at least 3 "ping pong balls" He said there could be more because he couldn't really feel anything in the right horn. So as of right now we are not completely sure how many she will have. I do have her scheduled for Wednesday for her ultrasound so that we can tell a little better. She is due July 20th!! I was told they could determine the gender of pups through ultrasound is this true??? I also heard that different heartbeats can tell you if its boy or girl like morse code... (Boys the dots, girls the dashes). If not is their anyway they can determine the gender before birth? Anyways wish me luck on finding out how many she is going to have! Thanks! BaileysMom |

| Hi Baileys Mom, Congrats on the pups! I heard the same thing about dots and dashes - but Im not so sure how accurate it is. The breeders would know better. The vet called and said Chloes white blood cell count is high so they want to put her on antibiotics. She was sneezing a little bit and she had some greenish stuff in her eye for the past week. I hope this works!

♥My Lil' Monkey Girl♥ Donating Member | LOL cesar..... i was the same way .... i doubted her pregnancy since the beginning i was told a lot of yorkies go through a false pregnancy their first time. My family and friends were saying she is pregnant.... I still worried and prayed and when the vet told me that he felt 3 ping pong balls..... i felt better and way excited! So my excitement turned into another issue and wanting to know if i could find out the sex of the puppies... Since i am hoping one is a girl... her name is going to be bailey (Thus, my screen name...LOL) See im a head of the pregnancy...LOL! Well good luck with yours! How far along would your girl be? When is she due? Sending best wishes your way! |

| Hello Bailey and congrats on your babies hope everything works out well. As for us we have no idea when in July we are due. But I'll be traveling to California tonight (4hour drive) to see my mom. I wanted to take advantage of this trip before Doo Doo starts getting closer to her time. After her babies are here there is no way I'll be doing any traveling any time soon. Hope evey one is doing well and keeping close eye on those bellies. |

| After giving some serious thought I called the vet today and rescheduled her Xray for July 1st. She would be 51 says then. Her original Xray appt was for June 27th which put her at 47 days. The vet's office told me that they do Xrays at 45days or more. They actually told me today that it was a good idea that I waited until day 51! I wish they would just have told me no at 47 days! If I have to bring her in for othe appts then I will. But I dont want to waste money and have 2 Xrays done because I'm so anxious to know! So now I am waiting again ...in 11 more days I will know how many pups and I can get the confirmation that this is not a phantom pregnancy. Even with the clear discharge she's been having and all the other symptoms ...I still need to see it with my own eyes lol Genie,Cookie,Lola,Angel |

if she shows signs in the next 2 weeks, i will get an xray.. but it also appears that my lucy might be pregnant.. or i have some fat, heavy girls. they have been very hungry.. so i will keep them on the prenatal diet just in case..and i am getting ready.. no traveling for me this summer.. thanks for your support .. where did your vet feel the ping pong balls? right below the rib cage? by the way sadie refuses to stay on her back for photos.. she is very shy... lucy would be due around july 12th.. but this also not confirmed... the torture continues i will just be listening to everyone else talk about their babies.. best wishes for all the new puppies... hope they are all healthy...

When the vet checked her he told us he may not feel anything as he is not as good with dogs as he is cats. Cats seem to be smaller then dogs which allows it to be easier. However my baby girl isnt real thick so he was able to feel. Once he found the three he asked if we would like to feel so we did. It was amazing. It was below the ribcage yes.... the middle between her rib and back leg. Good luck hoping a litter for you one way or another. I also heard if your girl is gaining weight and it is tight on her tummy instead of loose and pudgy that is a good sign they are pregnant! Good luck! | |

| OMG is this Normal! ?? I know most people don't measure the girth of their pregnant bitch, but I thought this would help me get an idea of how much she is growing. Her girth was 13.75" June 18th and this morning she is 6 weeks pregnant and my daughter told me "Mom she looks like she swallowed a melon lol.So I took a look at her and measured her again today June 21st well she is now 14.5" inches!? OMG and she has 3 weeks left! Her average girth is 12.5" so 14.5"is a huge growth. Now I am so anxious for her Xray date! I guess she just had a major pregnant growth spurt.?
