Oh Nicki, I just found this thread through the may babies thread..

I am so sorry and my heart goes out to you.. Your sister should be so grateful but when you not there doing it.. for some it is hard to understand the stress and the heartache..(((((Hug to you)))) I know how you feel..it is so hard to lose those little tiny helpless guys.. when we can't it is so devestating...

I know it's an awful feeling. It wasn't your breeding and you helped all that you could. Getting that puppy out was a lifesaver for the mom.

If I lose any from a breeding I planned, that's an even worse feeling to me. I feel like I brought this puppy into the world only to let it down. Nevertheless the truth is we're all going to lose a few along the way.

You did good, you were there for them, to bail them out.

What do you mean she almost bled to death? My little girl is due in a couple weeks and I feel like I am going to do something wrong. I know this might be asking a lot but what is the step by step process here for us. You're probably incredibly busy with the new litter, I'm sorry to hear about the boy and girl. Could you please send me a messge whenever you have a chance? Or if anyone out there could walk me through this I would really, really appreciate it?

Go to www.debbiejensen.com and select "whelping". She has excellent instructions for breeding, calculating conception, whelping....lots of instructional things. It's a very good site. I keep it handy and refer to it alot! Good Luck and Best Wishes!

Sorry....it was working in March when my female had her pups. I keep it handy and check it from time to time. I'll try it again later. Don't know why she would have taken it down. It's been there for at least 3 or 4 years.
