Niki, so glad to hear the little guy is latching on and that everyone seems to be doing so well. You did a great job.

Keep after Fancy to drink and eat a little. Hand feed her if that is what it takes. I pour chicken broth over the puppy kibble and add a little shredded chicken, then I mush it up and hand feed it. Usually if you start with a little chicken they will take a few bites. I know you will probably be up tonight off and on checking on everyone, so offer Fancy some more food/water at that time too.

I can't believe I missed this today...darn work!!

Congrats on your 6 new babies!!! Hope Fancy and the babies are doing well and you all get some sleep tonight!!

I come to realize that I have two little boys...but they are doing great!!! I checked on them many times through the night and come to find out they were both latched already sucking away. Fancy is eating good and drinking very well. She has not got up to potty yet though. She is such a good little mama!!! She wasn't that good during labor...but I don't know if that is the case or I just wouldn't give her time to be good...because I had to get those bags open and suction them out...I couldn't wait! She had the last two in my lap...she refused to lay down and have them...but that was okay...those were the tiny two and the two that had the full bag left on them. This was an amazing experience!!!!! I promise to get pictures on in just a little while. Oh, and both parents are 7 lbs. I picked Fancy up last night when I was wiping her bottom off...and she felt soooo light!!!! I just wanted to hug her and love on her...but I couldn't do that to long she had to get back to them babies!

Congratulations!!! Isn't it the most amazing experience!!! I feel more attached to Kallie after going through all of this with her... Good Luck on your new little crew and try to get some rest!!!

YES!!!! It is the one of the most amazing experiences (besides having your own children).....I definately feel so much closer to Fancy...it is going to kill me to get rid of these little ones...but I am not going to think about it that way...just to make sure they are being taken care of now. I am going to get a scale today and some canned milk.

Good news to hear that everyone is doing well. Awww, the last two were born in your lap??? Now if that didn't bond you, the mama, and the babies even closer than you already were.........that would be so special to me! I was right there, hands on, when Lexie had her pups & intend to be for all future litters we have, but to have them born in your lap....WOW!
Can't wait for the pics........congrats again!
