| Temp ? I took Dori's temp last night it was 100.5 which is the highest it's been since I started taking it, this morning when I took it it was at 99.0, I'm going to take it again after while before I go to work, and have my mother-in-law keep her for the time while I'm at work.. So whatta ya think puppies soon?

| It is really hard to say. If the temperature stays down then she might be getting ready to whelp. I have found that the morning temperature is usually lower. Low blood sugar can cause a lower temperature so if you took it early before she ate then it might just mean her blood sugar is low. There have been several pregnant bitches on her lately that have been running low temperatures for many days. If you take the temperature again around noon and it is still low or lower then that would be a good indication she might be getting close. Best of luck. |
