It is really hard to say. If the temperature stays down then she might be getting ready to whelp. I have found that the morning temperature is usually lower. Low blood sugar can cause a lower temperature so if you took it early before she ate then it might just mean her blood sugar is low. There have been several pregnant bitches on her lately that have been running low temperatures for many days. If you take the temperature again around noon and it is still low or lower then that would be a good indication she might be getting close. Best of luck. |
