OOHHH puppies!!! I just read this thread and how exciting!!! Amanda, she could be just digging to get comfortable and could be labor..so hard to tell with that... if its combined with some other things then.....does she seem like she can't find a comfortable position???? Has she been panting???

Well no babies yet!! My husband was waiting for me to go to bed before he went to bed so I went downstairs and meant to come back up and post again but I fell asleep rubbing Kallies butt for 30 minutes..I am so afraid that I am going to miss the signs everyone is talking about and last night with the digging and the very low temp I though for sure she was ready... I have another whelping box beside my bed and I sleep with one hand on her belly and last night she just begged me to rub her and so I did until she fell asleep. You could tell she was uncomfortable but there was no panting. She goes to the vet for an xray and exam today at 10:50 so we will see how that goes. Her temp this morning was back up to 99.5 so not sure what was going on with the 97.6 last night...She wants to be with me at all times so I am going to go cuddle her.. It's hard to do without Stewie, he just looks at me like I dont love him...If anything changes before her appt I will post, otherwise I will post after her appt with xray pics...

Yes keep us updated.

do you think maybe...that when he did the xray he decided that they needed to do a c-section...and maybe that is what they are doing?.....just thinking out loud.....lol

Sorry, I have been really busy since I got back...There are supposedly 3 puppies and he said that he thinks that one of them is definately a runt. At first he thought that he only saw two in there. Then he changed his mind. I had to go to the pet store and get some milk in case that small one needs help.He said that I probably have less than a week but he couldn't be certain. He thought that the bones in the xray were still a little faint so it might be another week but it could be tonight. I HATE not knowing when they were sneakin around having sex behind my back!!! It makes it so stressful not knowing when to expect it.. The vet also said that she appeared to be very clingy to me and that probably meant that she was not going to want to have them unless I was right there with her..She wants to be touching me at all times...I wish you guys could see it.. I have to go pick up my oldest from school so when i get back I will post the xray photo and see if you can see anything... I personally cannot see a darn thing in it but he pointed them out to me.. Sorry I made all of you wait but she is been panting off and on and cleaning herself alot today.. But I'm not getting my hopes up... The vet tech at his office is already asking for one...She begged me to call them when they are born. Like I hadn't already planned on that!! LOL!!

LOL...thats too funny!!! You know even when we know within days of when they are due...you still stress and think everything they do odd is the time....I hope your getting some rest??? Sounds like the little princess is definately being pampered with alot of TLC, you better watch it she may decide she likes this;) Keep us posted...I think i've checked my computer 10 times today:D
