| breny, if the mama dog was imported, her new owners should have AKC registered her. if not, you will have a heck of a time getting your puppy registered. My showgirl's Grandsire is from Hungry and there were a lot of foriegn words on his end of the pedigree but he was registered AKC. |

Luv my 7 Furkids Donating Member | If they didnt register mom with akc and get her dna tested the puppies cannot be akc registered. Dont know about the hungary papers ' My Kalani is from Brazil, and has brazilian papers. I registered her with akc, then when I had to dna test her so that I could reg her puppies. |

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Oh yes, the mom is already registered with AKC and DNA'd Pups are already registered with AKC as well. Everything is all good there! I was just wondering about getting the moms pedigree from AKC - its saying the Complete pedigree information is unavailable on our online database. I do have the hungary pedigree already. I was wondering what the pups pedigree would look like? would it have the CH listed on it from its mom from hungary? |

Back in the 80's I had my own special stationary with my own yorkie photo (watermark) on my pedigrees. If you research and know pedigrees - you will know if they are correct or not. I am talking though about show dogs (pedigrees). If they are not show - you will have a hard time if almost impossible to know their pedigees. Which one of yours is from Hungary? Which line is she from? You can also try sweetyblue web site to research foreign dogs lines. T. Last edited by topknot; 04-09-2008 at 08:21 AM. | |

| I have an imported dam (brazil) which is registered AKC/DNA bred to my AKC sire. The babies AKC pedigree from this two will show 2 generations from mom as that is what AKC has in file from when I registered my imported dam and dad will show all. In other words AKC only has the parents and grandparents of my dam because they were showing on her paperwork when I registered her but I guess they have no way to go further because they are from another country and not registered with AKC. |
