I'm sure there will be waivers for dogs that are at a high risk for undergoing surgery...those that are too small or have a health issue that would make surgery too dangerous. Same as there are for rabies laws..you can get a waiver for the rabies vaccine if you have a good reason. So far as the size issue though, I've heard of even hamsters being spayed/neutered so I really don't think any dog is too small...I know I would be a lot more nervous if I had a tiny dog but I'd still have it done if they were healthy

Deana I went to the site U told me to and I tried to look up laws here in Indiana, I found 1 but really don't understand it. Gonna go find it again if I can. If I copy/paste it here could U maybe explain it to me. I don't know if it is for the whole State of Indiana. I tried to find out County and City laws for my own City on pets but couldn't find anything. In our own County and City who should I contact email to try to find out the laws? When I called last Summer I just got the run around and told we don't have to have a Kennel Lic. I myself think we should if we have so many dogs or at least a permit and maybe that would help cut down on the BY Breeders here. Any help would be loved.

As a taxpayer, I find it highly offensive that people in the government even have time to worry about dogs right now. They can't keep track of foreign terrorists taking flying lessons here but they have time to monitor how many dogs I have...That's outrageous!
