Omg What next? I have had so many problems here as some of you know :( And worried about Allie.I told you how Nala is so big a few days ago. But hadnt paid much attention since then. I watched Nala waddle across the floor and get in Allies whelping box. I picked her up and her tummy is HUGE and I was like OMG,To my husband. There is no way she is going till the 24th He was like are you crazy? We bred her the week after Allie. I was like no I wrote it on the calendar. She 3 weeks to the day of Allies first tie. He says I'm wrong. Is it no wonder in this crazy house? Anyways..I laid her on the couch to check her tummy good. And I felt movement. Its faint...not strong yet. But I think he must be right.Gez oh petes....what next? Ughhhhhhh |

Three Very Healthy Babies! Soooo as all of you know, she had a big boy first. Then she had two girls. They were a little smaller than my little boy but not by much. When I went to the vet he told me that he saw 4 for sure but we never had a fourth. I waited and waited but there still isnt a fourthllllllllllllllllll Anyone ever had this happen? After she had the 3rd. I thought that I felt another one but I'm not sure. It might have been her organs. She doesnt seem like she is still in labor. She is just relaxed in her box with her babies. She is a really great mom!!!! When I picked them up this afternoon to weight them. She was watching ever thing that I did with them. They are all eating very well! too! Thanks for all of your prayers. They WORKED WELL!! And a special thanks to Nicki for staying up all night with me!!!:D Weights: Boy 6.8 oz. Girl 5.8 oz Girl 5.3 oz |

Congratulations on three healthy babies. Afterwards, you can feel the uterus which can easily be mistaken for a baby. If you feel something kicking, then that would be different. I bet your so tired. Be sure to get yourself some rest. |
4 Attachment(s) Yes I am very tired. It started at 10:25. She had her first puppy at 1:30 then her second at 3:58, third 4:02 then I stayed up till 7 waiting for that fourth puppy. Here are the pictures. Girl, Girl, Boy. Then pups nursing and then mom with pups. |

Awww they are so precious!!! :D Yes, what Susan said...it was probably just her uterus. It sure does feel like another puppy sometimes, but you can usually tell by the way mom is acting if she's done. :) You did a great job, especially with getting that first puppy out! He was a big boy...;) And you're so welcome, I was glad to help! :D Congrats hun!!!! :bravo: |

Glad the mom and pups are doing well. Congrats on a safe arrival. I have had a vet say we had 5 before and only had 4 he then told me what we were seeing is called an artifact *spelling* on the xray. Maybe one of the vet techs here can elaborate on exactly what an artifact on an xray is ( i am thinking a shadow) But at any rate so glad all is well. Now go get some rest Deana |

Allie and Nala Allie is still digging I put sheets on both the couch and chair. I am sick of fighting her already to stay in her whelping box. When she starts having them will move her there then... Temp is still 97.5. No panting or nothing yet. The weird thing is either shes keeping herself real clean licking so much Or Nala has more discharge then she has. I took Nalas temp. Its up there at 100.1 But "he" is getting a whelping box ready for her too. And taking her and trimming down her tummy and other areas now to be ready. Those puppies are really moving around.I will take pics of her tummy after hes done with her. I told my daughter and she said...yes mom.. I think it was only a week or so after Allie bred also. Ughhhhh I am so losing it here. |

Yes it is a relief! I'm so glad that is all done and over with. Now we have our angels here! They have been eating all day. It was so amazing how as soon as they were born and cleaned..they were ready to nurse. Good luck with Mikayla, Allie, and Nala for a safe delivery. My prayers will be with you! |
