I have been just so shocked over all this. I am so sad for Raymond and for his babies (his yorkies). I know they will miss him terribly. You just have to be so careful and even if you are careful - things can happen.
We had a girl that owned her own beauty shop just down the road from where I worked - a real small country road - she was kidnapped and killed. Aparently he pulled up to her place noticed that she was alone - put her in his van and drove off with her. She had a young teenage boy. She was missing for a long time and then found her body. So sad that there are actually people out there that would kill someone.

Yes U are very right we must be careful, I tell all 4 of my girls this (Ages: 23.5, 22, 12 & 9) it's so hard to know who to trust now days. I worry all the time about my parents and my girls, I keep my doors locked day and night. When I take my Yorkies outside they are on harnesses & leashes in my front yard (Not fenced in yet hope it will be this summer) and I never leave them out there alone. It's not safe like it use to be in the olden days when U could trust everyone. I wish those times was back now.

Gosh I'm just reading this. I live not more than 15 minutes from North Ft Myers and I didn't know this happened. How very sad. He seemed to be a very well respected breeder and I'm sure he will be missed by many. I hope they find who did this.

Raymond was murdered and they did arrest someone.

I hope that they bring this person to justice!!! Isn't it sad that they release a convicted felon from prison & just two weeks later that person goes out and does something his horriable. They still are in my thoughts & heart!! Hugs

I read the article - so he was actually released only a week before Raymond was murdered. And why are they only charging him with second degree murder? Raymond could have layed there - hours or days before he died too.

Thank you for keeping us updated on Raymond.. as for the guy they have charged.. it happens all the time these types get released and then do it again.. they usually are so dependant on being in a prison, they do not know any other life.. but so sad that our justice system allows this. Put ankle bracelets on them, so they know their whereabouts...
In Canada now, if you get charged with impaired driving you get a breathilizer system put into you vehicle.. you have to blow into it before the car turns on, and if your driving and the alarm goes off.. you better blow fast or the car stops immediately... so if they can come up with this.. maybe they need to spend money on convicts that are released...

Does anyone know about his Funeral Arrangements? I've been searching the internet to find something out and can't find anything. I was wondering about them or if we can send our Condolences to some of his family? I mean he is a very well know Yorkie Breeder. Does anyone know of an address where we could send a card or email address? Thanks & Hugs

I'd say someone might be checking his website so you could email condolances there. Not sure tho.
