LEE COUNTY Deputies are searching for a North Fort Myers man who has been missing for about a week. Deputies consider his disappearance suspicious.Crime tape surrounds Raymond Antonucci's home at 17601 Williamsburg Drive and K-9 units from a private non-profit group are searching the area for clues.Inside his home, deputies found blood spatters near his bed, a tarp on the floor and what they describe as a foul odor The room was in complete disarray. A longtime friend of Antonucci’s says he is spotless, meticulous. Jamie Arnez, Antonucci’s business partner, reported him missing after finding the front door open and the home a mess."I just hope they get to the bottom of whatever’s going on here," said Arnez.Antonucci breeds terriers. Thirty five or so were removed from the home and will go to friends and a veterinarian in Miami.Another of Antonucci’s friends says he would never leave the dogs alone. If you have any information on Antonucci’s whereabouts, contact the Lee County Sheriff’s Office at (239)477-1000 | |

| I did not know him personally. I have looked at many pictures of his dogs and admired his work over the years as I just got into yorkies about 7 months ago... I am saddened by this and in my heart of hearts I feel someone set him up.... I bet there is more to this story such as theft ect.... I am so glad the dogs are being cared for .. I feel if it was someone who knew about yorkies they would have stole them. It was reported a homeless man had visited in his home and had a criminal record.. I suspect right off the bat it was him and he did it for money... May the lord rest his soul and may the dogs live out the rest of their lives the best they can.... I know my babies are on schedules and would absolutely flip if it got changed. I can not imagine what the dogs have gone through losing the one who has loved and cared for them for so long... I pray they readjust well.... My sympathies to the family to his friends to the Show Ring Friends and to the most important of all his First Love HIS Yorkies!

| I did not know Mr. Antonucci but I do want to send my condolences to his family and friends. I visited the Parquins website and from what I read he must have been a remarkable man dedicated to the betterment of the Yorkshire Terrier. So sad. http://www.yorkshiresofparquins.com/ |

| I am sure this is the man that consoled me when I was taken by Deana when I bought Maravilhosa.. I sent him an email asking him questions.. he was so very kind to me.. I am sure it was him.. I thought he died, now it looks like he is missing and his dogs were alone..that is horrible.. I am sending huge prayers for him.. what a sin... I knew he loved his dogs from his emails.. I really want to keep updated on this... |

| It's so sad that people have very little regard for life anymore. Use it up and throw it away...

| Raymond had not been heard from for a week...a friend went to check and found the dogs alone...not like Raymond to leave his dogs like that...then a body was found in house.. autopsy proved it to be Raymond...very sad indeed. Police have labeled it a homicide which is worse... Last edited by YorkieRose; 03-21-2008 at 06:56 AM. |

| None of the dogs were missing from what I have heard, the friend said all the dogs were with freinds and club members and were well cared for, just hungry from being alone...nothing has been reported as a robbery.. |
