| he was born two hours ago and was fine, he just stopped breathing and I have suctioned his mouth and nose.. he is still pink lips... any help would be great...thanks has not breathed in 10 minutes or so |

| he is gone, I am just so devasted. I worked on him until for over half an hour, I prayed. I had my girl blessed yesterday. It is so hard for me to let go and let him down.. |

| I am so sorry. I just saw your post. I always check to make sure that their mouth is cleared and get them on the heating pup and nursing a.s.a.p. The heating pad (do not put pup directly on pad - too hot, but a towel or blanket over it and set on low) and nursing really helps. I still hold pups in both hands and swing down gentle between my legs, being very careful not to loose pup or hit anything. This also helps to get fluid from lungs if they still sound gurgelish after birth. Others will suction. And even some breeders have a little bottle of oxygen and mask ready in these cases as well.
