Just wondering though. I am from Pomona, CA. Does anyone know of a reputable breeder. I have contacted a few and they either do not have dogs or haven't contacted me back. I'm 24 and looking for a puppy of my own and hoping to spend no more than $1000, $1200 at most if from a really well known breeder. I really bond well with my dogs and I'd hate to spend less and have it get sick but I'm definitely looking for a price break of possible.

I have a very good breeder in Alta Loma. If you'll email me, I'll give you her name and contact info. But I will say, breeders don't want to hear that you are looking for a bargain. I think you could get a male for 1500.00. Females are about 1000.00 higher. The breeder I've gotten mine from shows her babies...they are very nice dogs. If she doesn't have what you want, she may know someone who does. Good luck and please don't be in hurry....do a lot of homework...it really pays off.

Immediately when i left I realized i made a mistake. I called to cancel and was not only told it was non-refundable but that i had 2 days to make a purchase or loose the deposit!! I was so upset. This was supposed to be a happy day and instead now i'm out $300 and don't have a pup. Long and short is she has not returned calls or emails. I'm going to fight this out with my credit card company but my recommendation is that she's all sales. Anyone who genuinely loves dogs would never pressure such an important decision. Furthermore, other breeders i met later warned me that other folks had complaints and felt they too had been duped.

O.K. so I have read all of these posts regarding "Nikki from Arcadia". It seems really funny that I have a very similair story. The only difference is that my "person" was not called "Nikki". Could this all be a coincidence or is this the same person using different names? I sure would like to know what Nikki looks like.

Does anyone still have contact number or address for this Nikki / Nicole Yorkie breeder in Arcadia? I know this is a long shot...I believe she is the breeder I bought my Yorkie from. And I desperately need to get hold of her. My 6 years old Yorkie was LOST this weekend....and she is my LAST resort to get the microchip number on Buddy. I moved 2 times and cannot find my purchase contract. I need to get the microchip number in order to try to locate Buddy (even tho I never registered it....) it is still a viable lead if anyoone try to register his chip.
