| I would think 4 years is ok, as long as she has been tested and everything checks out ok. She'll probably only be able to have one (maybe 2) litters safely, but maybe that's all she needs... |

| I've been told that a female should be bred prior to three years of age for the first time. You want her to give birth for the first time before the pelvic symphysis fuses. This sets the pelvic bones so the birth canal may stay too small
