I must have missed something.... Anyway, try not to worry...you clearly stated that you had no intentions of breeding.

It has nothing to do with trust and knowing someone the fact that kimmie worries so much about her babies and how they will live and their lifestyle that she will worry.. Up till now I dont think she worried about Coco.. Once again i've never thought of breeding coco or any dog for that matter. Its not what I want to do if ever.. Especially not with coco.. Come on now she's barely 2lbs and some change. I want to live my life with my baby not kill her or jeopardize her.. I don't want to breed I just had a question.

Stud service works many ways. Most have a set fee, average is about $400/$500 for a non-champion, $750/$1000 for a champion, depends on several factors...paid at the time of the last breeding..you are buying a service, not a litter...same as a human going to a sperm bank. Some ask for litter pick, not wise for the bitch owner and that is a mighty high stud fee IMO, never had a show breeder ask for a litter pick from me.....but there are no rules set in stone..no laws...just so each agrees and writes a contract so there are no forgotten agreements. I have had some offer a litter pick and I took them...but if there was a change of heart or one puppy, they could pay the fee if they wanted to keep all the puppies, or there was only one girl or small one they wanted... Finding a reputable, ethcial breeder with healthy studs is another story all together...always get referrals from other breeders, vets, etc you trust...

Well I never answered the question LOL...but in all seriouness...if the breeder trusts you and you trust her then this thread shouldn't be any worry. You just asked a question and some answered it. You stated it was just an inquiry so there should be no worries from the breeder nor you. Don't make it into something that it isn't. Ignore those that took it to a place it shouldn't have gone especially if you know you are doing the right thing and your breeder knows the same thing. When you post on an open forum sometimes you run the risk of opening up a can of worms. You have to be a strong person to handle those that can't mind their own business unfortunately. Donna

Look....it no secret there are always drama starters and people that look thru threads to try and stir the pot. Dont let it get to you....and ask WHATEVER question you want...no you may not be breeding or thinking about it even...maybe someone is tho and learned something from your question...Both my babies are altered, so I am not looking to breed either but I learned form this.....I appreciate you asking and you have every right to ask away!!! Yt is supposed to be informative which i think it is dont let bullies or anyone else get you down!!! Take care!

| WOW I READ the statement and knew you were ASKING a QUESTION, a very good question at least in my mind. I hope you will continue to ask questions and sorry for the people that went running away to your breeder trying to put dought in her mind and you do have a very cute girl.
