Kingcreek kennels We just purchased a year old Shih Tzu from Kingcreek Kennels. It was a lovely experience and we enjoyed meeting the dogs of all shapes and sizes. They were Shih Tzus, Yorkies and Silkies and we watched them running freely and having a great time. Our new dog Alfred is very very sweet and I took him to the vet a few days after we got him and he passed with flying colours. The vet's own words were "a lovely healthy dog". The farm where they live is clean and well maintained. I found nothing to discourage us from going ahead with adopting Alfred. Anita and Peter are delightful people and very accommodating. They answered all our questions even after we brought the dog home. The unkind remarks on this site are unfair and unwarranted.

Ah, yet another member who joins, digs up a ridiculously old thread and immediately posts the praises of a breeder that everyone else recognizes as questionable. If I had a dollar for everytime that has happened.....

| I love it when they say they've taken the dog to the vet's and it is deemed healthy. Unless one requests that blood tests be run, x-rays be taken all a vet does is go over the pup...Looks at eyes, ears and listens to the heart; whalla, dog is healthy......

By the way what was the BAT reading on the sire and dam? And have you had your pup BAT tested yet?

I don't know if it's still there or a different one or what. This thread was from 2 years ago. I did just about spill my coffee when I read on the site that "silkies are almost just like Yorkies, only healthier and cheaper." And that most breeders are prepared because they were raised on farms. HUH? Last edited by BamaFan121s; 08-13-2010 at 10:05 AM.

Oh, and that 'once in a while they have HAPPY mistakes...called designer doggies.' I'm sorry, but if anyone doesn't see the red flags all over the place here, then they CLEARLY don't know what they are looking for in regards to an breeder ethics. Also says that it is PROVEN that people allergic to dogs are not allergic to Yorkies and Shih Tzus. I would like to know, just who exactly was that PROVEN by? And since they guarantee them to be hypoallergenic, does that mean that if you have an allergic reaction to them you can sue for breach of contract? :P Last edited by BamaFan121s; 08-13-2010 at 10:10 AM.

? I think you should all either get jobs, or stop reading Kingcreek Kennel's website up and down everyday. Don't you all have better things to do? Also, whats with you all being from the states and judging this Canadian kennel? The strangest thing i have ever heard of - a bunch of Yorkie/Silky owners bashing a kennel's website ... and the actual kennel being a few thousand miles away!? How about this: Website is catered towards simple people - they use simple words and phrases to explain things. Its kinda like doctors using normal talk instead of using medical terminonlogy with patients ... Get it?? The general public is not very intelligent. I'm not affiliated with the kennel or its owners - I just strongly believe that such harsh judgements should not be made by reading and picking on someone's website! I love my silky that I got from Kingcreek ... Full gamet done at the vets - totally healthy! I don't need to say anything else, as i risk giving you all the satisfaction of picking on my words and being nasty! Just my 2 cents ...
