| Congratulations on your new babies. My Sara had 2 boys and 2 girls this morning. Thank goodness all went well. The placentas usually just come out on their own and you don't always see them because the mother will eat them. The puppies nursing will stimulate the uterus and make it contract. Just keep a close eye on her temperature the next few days. Sometime I give a clean out shot but that does have its risks. Be sure to give the mom lots of food and start her on calcium tablets. |
