| Pick of litter?? I thought about a stud fee, but I'm really not interested in the money. I'd like to have the pick of the litter for a friend. I was always under the impression that the deal was a stud fee OR the pick of the litter. I'm new at this though and would appreciate any feedback. Thank you for the advice. |

Donating YT 14K Club Member | you are absolutely right! Stud fee or pick of litter. But if you think about it, what is the going rate for a female in your area? $800-1400? All I was saying is that is a high price. Is your stud a champion? Talking with Pat...YorkieRose...that would be the going rate for a champion stud. We have a lady here that does stud for pick of litter...only... and I know of one person that she's losing because this person doesn't want to pay that anymore. I've charged $500 for my male and have had repeat customers and am getting a new one. It's just something you should think about. If you find someone that is willing to do it, I say, GO FOR IT!!!

| Champ or no Champ? You gave me a lot to think about and I thank you for you expertise. Indy is not a champion, but he does represent the breed standard well and is AKC registered. However, I do know what you're saying and it makes perfect sense. Thanks. |
