| If the red flags are there ,which they seem to be ... don't do it. I came her after I had gotten my puppy . Even though I did get lucky with mine ( good health and all so far) I would have loved to have helpful people that really know about the breed guiding me through a purchase. I would go with another breeder.

So you people can think what ever, but I know what I sell of my own and stand behind them 100 % so if sending the pups to my nephew makes me a broker so be it call me what you want but I bet the many of many people that I saved a 3 hour trip so they could have one of my babys is very greatful. No matter how I defend myself there will be people that have nothing better to do with there time then to belittle others. Just goes to show you what this world is coming too.. I would never ever knock someone unless I delt with them personally and knew for sure by experience.

You don't have to defend yourself. The OP asked a question and everyone gave their opinions based on what they believe to be true from looking at your site , and through Internet searches.. He asked for opinions...They simply pointed out to the OP what they would consider red flags. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. I can understand you wanting to defend yourself , but if you sit back and look at the things they pointed out maybe you can see why they would be worried . If you were the buyer and it wasn't your site , wouldn't these issues be of importance to you ? Look at it from all sides.

Well actually yes these things are important to me but no I dont judge people by pictures I see or what others write. I would of contacted the breeder and asked all the questions needed and then used my own judgement as to what I felt and then if someone asked I would of told them what I thought but they needed to contact breeder for them selves to see what they thought. If I didnt know about ear mites and or coccida I would of contacted my vet or researched it before using those two issues to make my opinion. To many people think it is easier to just judge by what others fell and think then to take the time to check things out for themselves. I was raised to treat others as you would want to be treated. That is what has happen to society, to many people just want to jump to conclusions and put out negative opinions without even personally seeing for them selves what that person is about. But like I said before I have many of many of repeat buyers and am very happy with how I conduct business and the quality of my dogs and by no means am I perfect or my dogs..

Truth be told, it's somewhat irrelevant at this point. This thread was started and the opinions stated regarding your website a year ago. So what is on your website now is a moot point. There was no need to contact you to voice an opinion regarding the information that you yourself put on the website or to post about the experiences one member had with a dog that they got from you. Bottom line is, there were aspects of your breeding program, as stated on YOUR website, that others found issues with--some you have owned up to and some you've found "explanation/excuse" for. If you don't want others to comment on them or acknowledge them, don't put them on the internet for all to see, thus forcing others interested to contact you directly. And to top that new areas of concern as pointed out have been brought to the surface as well. I'm not sure what point you are trying to prove anymore, but as stated before, the information, opinions posted and your responses speak volumes regarding "what you are about." | yep I gave my opinion based on what was being said about me. And yep I will still knock show people because I was in that world for many years and know just how most but not all of them talk and act. And yes if people would read and see that several people shared this site the only way to find out which pups where actually mine would of been to contact me. And I never denied poor pet quality pups on here and never denied having issues with ear mites and coccida but like I said before unless you ask you dont know.. so judge all you like. I will still stick up for my self and no I dont make excuses there is always a reason for everything in life. |

Again...the information posted before, posted by Ladymom, posted by someone who got one of your pups and your own responses speak volumes.

What i find so hilarious about your website is the fact that you say some fo your yorkies could turn out to be show qaulity yet they are aca registered. Do you even know what conformation is? The main registration in the US is AKC and most people who show do it with akc or ukc. Wow you are ridiculous stop trying to decieve people.

Think what you will but I dont intend to or try to decieve people.. ACA has there own shows. Once breeders that are not in the fancy expensive show world realize what a great registry ACA is they will switch like I did not all breeders are in it for the fame and glory.. and yes I know very well what the standard is.

[QUOTE=heview;2377837] As for mites well I live in a very country area and my dogs encounter all types of wild animals and feral cats which do carry mites.. Okay, now I have to comment!! We live way out in the country as well and none of our dogs have ever had mites. We don't let them run loose outside where the wild animals run...they go outside to play and potty (always supervised) and only in our yard, no where else. Otherwise they are indoor dogs. They get frequent baths and grooming and regular vet checkups and mite free

Info about JadsDelight.com Hello everyone, I’m new to this list and found this thread by Googling JadsDelights.com. I realize the original post began in July 2007 and continued up to last month. I know someone who fell victim to this Gabriel Suggs in Maryland and that puppy sale raised red flags so I did some sleuthing and found some pretty astounding facts on the story behind JadsDelights. This site is registered to Angela Holloway, use used to do business under HEAVENVIEW KENNELS in New Paris, PA, Bedford County. Hence the ‘heview’ user name. Angela Holloway is notorious in that part of PA and in 2003-2004 was charged with and found and guilty of running an unlicensed, despicable dog kennel. The state of Pa Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement denied her a kennel license because the conditions of the dogs and their kennels were SO BAD. She used to breed Golden Retrievers and a lot of smaller breeds, which she kept in wire cages in an unheated barn. I saw the pictures and files from the state and they were pretty deplorable. There were several articles written about her in the Bedford Gazette and other local papers. Holloway was also suspended by the AKC: The AKC's Management Disciplinary Committee has suspended Angela Holloway (New Paris, PA) from all AKC privileges for a period of ten (10) years, effective November 10, 2003, and imposed a $2000 fine for failure to comply with the rules and regulations for record keeping and identification and failure to maintain her dogs and facilities in a manner acceptable to The American Kennel Club. (Multiple Breeds) American Kennel Club - November 2003 AKC Board Minutes Nathan Myer of Lititz is alleged to have many of her Golden Retrievers now which is tragic because Myer himself owns one of the state’s larger puppy mills. He is also USDA-licensed and sells pups to pet stores and brokers. Just Google his name for more info. Myer and David M. Zimmerman (another despicable puppy miller) came to Holloway’s defense during her court hearing when she was being charged by the state. No wonder she says that Nathan Myer is a “close family friend” but Myer certainly doesn’t need Angela Holloway to sell some of his dogs on her website! She has relatives and co-brokers in Maryland so no doubt is still hauling her sick and badly bred puppies across state lines in order to avoid detection by PA authorities. No one knows exactly what she is doing with dogs today but it can’t be good. And you all are right about the ACA: another junk registry, one that will register anything with fur and a few legs. It's known for picking up suspended AKC breeders. Thanks for listening and working to protect the integrity of the breed.

I feel bad for those poor dogs. Someone should keep her in a cage in the cold..in her own pee. Last edited by LittlePaws; 01-03-2009 at 09:07 PM.
