Did the vet say why she needed a c-section? Is she a small mom? Where the babies big? I have a little 3 mo. old girl that I hope to breed some day. I'm hoping she won't be so small that she'll have problems. I'd love to hear about her pregnancy and any info you can share.

So happy that everyone is ok! Thank God that you were there and observant to take her to the vets in time. Sometimes mother nature needs a little help from us. 4 lovely little girls to love and hold, heaven!...

I am glad you were able to act quickly and save the lives of the pups and possibly mom.

I have to apologize for not getting back here sooner. The pups were 3 7/8, 4, 4 3/4 and 6 1/4. The vet told me that the placenta was starting to separate and I would have lost them. Ginger never really did have contactions that I saw. They are all doing well... mom is fine and I am making sure she is eating well. The littlest baby is doing well and gaining good. I am so appreciative of what I have learned here

That is a nice looking litter. This was an emergancy situation as you found out..our last member who had this happen did not have a knowledgable vet. I am so happy for you and all is well..this forum is so important..not just friends and fun, but valuable knowledge for all.
