| ![]() APRI was created for one reason only..and they state it on their web site....thanks for posting this info....makes it even more clear to me that AKC is the ONLY registry. An AKC breeder can work on their bloodline for 20/30/40/50 yrs..placing suitable breeding/show stock in the proper homes and pets in proper homes..they can have a solid contract and limited regs...then a registery gets the bright idea to undermind the breed and allow their "limited" dogs to become breeding stock..never mind the the breeder may have found serious faults etc.. Contracts mean a law suit, limited means nothing...S/N all dogs you place is the only safe way to protect the breed from destruction...am I overreacting, I do not think so. |

| ![]() I agree with you 100% on that. That is why the breeder has to take the measures needed to make sure the dogs placed CANNOT be bred...more than just taking someone's word for it. |
