| if there isnt a pup presented after about an hour and she is still in heavy contractions I would begin looking for a ER vet...If she is resting and seems calm then she will be fine until the contractions and panting begins again... to ensure you are getting the placentas when you clip the cord put a hemostat about 1/4" from the puppy belly and another hemostat the other on the exposed cord outside the vulva clip in between...leave both clamped (one on the pup; leave for about 10mins; no bleeding when you take it back off if so reclamp)...other on the exposed cord in about 5-10 minutes pull up slightly on the hemostat outside the vulva the placenta should come right out!

| Yes, and he told me that he does not worry if she is not in distress which she plainly is not. He said it can be up to four hours between pups. I'm exhausted! |

| I didn't have any xrays or ultrasounds so I have no idea. Her belly is still pretty big and she didn't pass the placenta yet. |

| You should be able to feel them moving around if there are more puppies in there. Try palpating her belly gently and see if you feel any. You should be able to feel them easily as they should be moving around. |

Thanks for the good vibes. Right now Coco is in her crate sound asleep, doing nothing. I'm hoping Juliet gets busy pretty quick here!!! Tomorrow is day 61 for Coco. I'll keep all posted. Lori
