Taffy's update for 1/3/09

No puppies yet, I am not sure that sonogram lady was right..LOL I think my dad is right they are going to be born sometime during the week..LOL and if that happens I will never hear the end of it, my dad is going to say, I TOLD YOU SO... you should have paid ME...LOL. I paid a bundle for the x rays on christmas eve and the sonogram on the 29th, and still nothing, I feel that I should have let mother nature and my dad handle it..LOL but hey is all done, now is a matter of waiting anyways..LOL...

new baby!

hello all,
I just got my first yorkie about a weeks ago! We picked him up when he was 10 weeks old. I love him so much! His name is Bentley and he is so much fun. I thought having a dog would be a ton of work, but so far it has been going really well. The hardest thing I have found is when I have to leave him for a short time because as soon as I put him in the play pen he cries

, but im sure he will get used to it. Anyway, I have fun on YT reading all the forums and learned a bunch! everyone...

my puppy is 3.1 pounds at 4 months and is about a foot long, do you think hes going to grow to be big?

After taking Joey to his breeder, she felt like the Petipaws was not getting the nails short enough. Seeing her clip the nails, while he experienced absolutely no discomfort made me rethink my efforts. She explained that as the nails grow so does the quick, and just keeping the nails too long for a week or so, enables the quick to grow longer and longer each time. If nails are kept too long the whole foot can spread. She had to cut the nail to the quick on each nail. Amazingly, Joey didn't...

Here's some pictures I took today, no babies yet, but we are as ready as we are going to be, she took all the paper I use to wrap the dolls and stashed it in the box, and a big piece of my chenille fabric..I think Taffy gets bigger by the day. she woke up a few times after we went to bed, but ate her breakfast fine and her temp is 99.5. I am in watch but she seems very normal to me, just a bit more tired and BIG..
My dad was here yesterday and he knows a lot...
