Is it harmful to bathe a yorkie weekly? How many times should you feed an adult yorkie?

![]() | I bathe mine weekly - It's not harmful but use a good conditioner after shampoo so that their skin doesn't get really dry. Also - many vets say 1-2 times a day. Mine get breakfast and dinner ![]() |

![]() | Thanks, I have been feeding mine am and pm, but it seems he's always hungry. Yet when I give him a 1/2 cup he doesn't finish. I do not feed between meals for this reason. mzeloise |

![]() | It takes a few days for them to realize that this is their "feeding time" but they will realize it really fast and eat at that time and they will adjust. A feeding schedule also helps with their training, and just helping them be more stable with a routine. I just try everything I can for my little crazy hyper girl - otherwise she would be a little unstoppable tornado of trouble! |

![]() | well it all depends. I used to bathe sasha weekly until the vet said that i shouldnt. Because i use advantix flea treatments because we live in a neighborhood with lots of trees, they said that bathing her too much was just washing it off. They did say that in between treatments to use soap free shampoo and it wouldnt. But with some dogs they just have sensitive skin and constant bathing can irritate it. If it was up to her she would get on 2 to 3 times a day she loves the bath. But i only bath her 2-3 times a month. She doesnt get dirty really i just dont like her to feel like she is. Cause i know if it were me i would. Also, i give her a container (ceasars) of food once a day and keep her bowl with puppy chow. She doesnt really eat the puppy chow but atleast she has the option to. |

![]() | Re: Paul Mitchel Pets Oatmeal Shampoo & ConditionerI just wanted to respond to a question someone had about pet grooming products. As a yorkie owner and user of these products I can attest to the effectiveness and quality behind these products. In particular I like the Oatmeal Shampoo and Oatmeal Conditioner for sensitive skin. ![]() I also happen to be a retailer for Paul Mitchell products and sell out of my ebay store: e-beauty.spa.creatures. I sell below the suggested retail pricing on all items. I can sell anything by Paul Mitchell Pets even if there is not a listing for a certain item. I'd be happy to accommodate any requests and would certainly be grateful for any business. I'm also really glad I coincidentally came across this site. Yay! ![]() |
