It's been a LOVELY weekend here!

I'm a little sunburnt and my vitamins K & E have been plenty topped up by the sunshine. Hooray. I'm sure snow is lovely and all that - but I'll take summer anytime!

I organised a lovely yorkie walk on Lyall Bay Beach today and then completely forgot to take pictures

- I was too busy yakking

!
But I do have one pic of Dixie at the beach. And I've a couple more pics of Dixie. I think Dixie is showing her utterly good breeding and the general high standard of behaviour I expect in the bean bag picture.

O and there were two dolphins playing in the surf!! How amazing is that - sorry again no pics - too gobsmacked by fabulousness of nature!

Ohhh, I am so jealous! I'm originally an island girl from Hawaii and will NEVER get used to this winter and snow - ugh

I hope she enjoyed her day at the beach. She is such a cute little girl. I'm enjoying cool to down right cold winter days. Really! We rarely have winters cold enough to wear more than a sweater.

Oh I miss California.....Born and raised in sunny old Southern California....Orange County was my home until 14 years ago. Then came Texas, I've not enjoyed a summer since. Summer use to mean to me, bike rides, picnics, Barbeques, and the beach......now summer time in Texas means to me is "WHERE'S THE AIR-CONDITIONER"

The fur kids loved the beach. There were lots of dogs to chase and play with. Our summer has been cold enough to wear sweaters so far!! Hopefully the next month will make up for that but I'm back at work so can't enjoy it.

I just love that pic of Dixie in the bean bag - she's not normally that laid back.

"Jealous" doesn't BEGIN to describe how I feel about your post. Our "beaches" are covered in several feet of snow. But I will take solace in the fact that come July I will be posting pictures of sun and sand to make YOU jealous.

Dixie just gets cuter and cuter as your summer goes on. Eddie had me pin up the beanbag shot above his doggie bed.
