| ![]() Exactly she shouldnt have diahrea all the time and you have to find out why she does. What some people do is give the chicken and rice and gradually mix in kibble and put less chicken and rice untill theres all kibble. But iif the kibble gives her diahrea she may need to be on a rx food.

| ![]() She definitely needs to be seen by a vet! As for refusing food and choosing one...she is eating what you provide. If you only provide dog food she will eat it. After you take her to a vet to be sure she does not have something, I suggest you start giving her her dog food for 10-15 minutes and if she does not eat it, pick it up. Give her her dog food on schedule and do that same thing until she realizes that is the only food you are going to provide. She has you trained! ![]()

In my experience, they usually eat around day 2...sometimes 3. I have never had one go longer. They usually pick at the food the second day...takes a couple of days to eat ALL of it. They hold out with hope. ![]()

| ![]() Yes, put the food down and then pick it up after 10 - 15 minutes. She will get the message when you don't give her something else. As long as she is not vomiting continuously, I would not worry. You don't want her to dehydrate or get hypoglycemic; but I have never had one do that. The will eat in most cases. ![]() BUT....again I encourage you to take her to the vet first!! You want to make absolutely certain she is not ill. Constant diarrhea is not normal!

| ![]() If you feel better with gradual switch over, you have to grind that hamburger up fine enough that she cant pick out the pieces....they are tooo coursely ground up. You can then put her kibble in her bowel, add a couple of teaspoonfuls of the finely ground meat to the kibble, stir it up well....you are trying to coat the kibble with the ground meat scent....you may even add a teeny bit of water to make it mix well...then you offer it at a specific time of the day.....every day.....all the books then say present it for 15 minutes, then pull it up. They soon learn that this is what they are getting....and you will be offering it AT THE SAME DESIGNATED TIME DURING THE DAY, FOR THE SPECIFIED AMOUNT OF TIME, THEN IT GOES AWAY! She will come to your way of thinking....then you slowly decrease the amount of meat you are putting in there. I would suggest ground boiled chicken, as opposed to ground meat....STOP THE BETWEEN MEAL TREATS!! You said she had been to the vet and treated with Flagyl and diet for the diarrhea...."getting into stuff she wasnt supposed to"....this is as much of a concern as trying to get her onto her kibble....you have to be sure your home is puppy proofed and she is NOT eating things she shouldnt be getting into! | ![]() Switch your baby to the Prey Model Diet. My Herschel was the picjiest eater. He loves this diet. It is the only way to know precisely what you are feeding your baby. |

you could take it up and try again in a couple hours. she should at least eat 1/2 cup of food per day. are you feeding 2 or 3 times per day ? | |

| ![]() I would pick it up and feed her again when you would normally feed her. If you start giving her extra feeding times, you are going to be in the same boat. She needs a schedule!
