My girls would never were bows, but I always tried. Now with new baby coming I will try again. Was wondering what kind of bows are best, clips or elastic or whatever, I'm right out of the "bow" loop. Also where is the best place to buy them?

I use alligator clips. I find them best for me.

I've been buying from Susan for almost 2 years now and have been very happy with her bows.

BowBiz that Beamers Mom is talking about. I spent hours looking at bows for my girl!

I tried the barrettes this time. Trying to give Rosie more of a challenge. I also like the alligator clips. They are easier to put back in after Rosie figures out how to get them out of her hair!!

Thanks guys, I just ordered from them and their prices are great. Oh I hope she will wear them! I will start with just the bands and graduate to the bows with supervision. She is barely 5 weeks, never even seen her yet and I have bought her harness and bows......I think I need help! hehehe

It is an addiction!! But it is so much fun.

Hmmm what other trouble can I get into here tonight.......doggie bed with her name on it....hmmmm I better go to bed before I'm broke, tomorrow is another day! LOL

Welcome to my world. I spend lots of time. Dresses, Kwigy Bo carrier, hair bows, shampoos, car seats, etc. I am always looking. And what is worse is now I am on Petfinder.com looking for her a sister.

Umm, have not convinced the hubby on that one. I need a bumper sticker that says I work for my dog.

Yes, I would be!!

I LOVE my Kwigy Bo. I can sneak Rosie in to places now and no one knows!! We went to the mall recently. No one had a clue my furbaby was with me!!

I understand!! My hubby and I do the "Don't ask don't tell". He don't ask how much and I don't ever tell!! The best price in the world is from Ryan! He is here on YT. RDB911 is his user name. Welcome to this very popular club! I think my girls are going to need a closet of their own! And we won't even go into the "bows". When Bridget was little I used baby barettes in her hair - they were pretty inexpensive and if she got them out and destroyed them I wasn't out a bunch of money. I always used a band first too. Then the girl I get my bows from (Amy - Darlin' Beaux's) started selling the option to add "Gripzies" to her alligator clips - they're like a strip of foam - that helps keep the bow in place - especially on the little ones that don't have a bunch of hair on top yet, they worked like a charm - even when my girls think that each others bow has been put there just for them to grab at!... Just something to think about. Anyway - I'm sure this is just the beginning for you - start looking for a big storage box - you'll have a bunch of bows before you know it! Welcome to the club!!

I was using a large box for Beamer's bows - he has over 50!
Then in one of the forums on here they were discussing storage for bows - was only about a month ago - and someone mentioned the storage boxes from Harbor Freight. They are individual little see through plastic boxes inside one plastic box.

24 Container Storage Box

I went to the local Harbor Freight store and bought 4 of them. They are ideal for the bows. They protect each one individually.
