Fiona is only 3lbs and the tags I usually buy for my dogs are way to big for her. We will be taking her on vacation this summer and I would feel safer if she was wearing some identification. Anyone know where to get a really small tag?

get the round mini... it is really meant for cats so it is super tiny.

I ended up upgrading to the small so I could put more on it and even that is pretty small, so the tiny should be perfect for you.

These also are some of the best tags out there!

This is the one I got for Lily. The small sized one is about the size of a dime maybe? I was able to have 3 lines of info engraved on it.

Red Dingo makes really small ones too, like dime-sized. They are really nicely made and have great designs and colors to choose between

Small tags have very little room for information ...

That being said, I got a very nice "tag" for Bella at the Mall, in one of those jewelry kiosks. I got a vermeil (gold plated silver) charm for her, which they engraved on the spot. You can at least put your cell phone number on it, even if you have to split the line.

You may end up needing some black shoe polish to fill in the engraving, to make it more visible. O'wise, to those of us who have old eyes, the print disappears. But you can get something a little more "unique" than the standard dog tag when you go to charms instead.

BTW, have a nice vacation

Get both sides of the tag engraved. Some sites do some don't.

Got Mabel's tag at PetSmart. A machine does it while you watch and you can get both sides done. Three lines per side and it also comes with a piece of laminate in the shape of whatever tag you chose for protection. It is very durable and seems to be made of high quality materials. Lots of sizes& shapes&colors to choose from. It's fun to watch too! I got one for Mabel to go her collar and also one to go on her pet carrier. The sizes are a wide range also.

I did see the Red Dingo tags on ebay (had them marked) and I love the pink heart tag that was mentioned. I think that one was included on two different sites I looked at.
The charm idea is great too. I like for her to wear jewlery so that fits in well. She may end up with a few different tags before I am through!

He's got a tag on, like, all of his collars so I don't have to switch 'em when I change collars, hehe. I'm a matching freak - I like for his collar/tag to match along with his harness!

I've got 2 "rip off" Dingo tags I got from eBay, and the others are just regular stainless steel from eBay.
