Poor customer service from YT member - YorkieTalk.com Forums

I have been very hesitant to post, because I have been one of the defenders of this YT seller in the past and also because I had a very good history of transactions with her prior to my last attempt. My most recent PM however has not been returned and I am a bit disappointed in myself for having allowed things to get to this point without providing some warning to YT members.

In March of 2009 I contacted YT seller Annamalyssa and requested that she hold a Monkeydaze jumper for me in a size small that she had listed for sale. She agreed. I sent a money order for $36 that arrived at her address on March 25th. On April 1, 2009 Annamalyssa contacted me via PM and said that her last size small was defective and that she was trying to get another from the manufacturer. I opted to wait for a new jumper rather than request a refund. When it became obvious that a new jumper was not going to be available to Annamalyssa, I agreed to accept a refund.

The initial communication from this seller was that the refund would go out after June 10. I did not receive it and PM'd the seller. I was then told it would go out in August. I did not receive it, and PM'd the seller. I was then told it would go out the week of September 8, 2009. I have not received it as of today (October 7), and sent another PM on September 30 that has not been responded to. I understand that Annamalyssa has had issues with personal expenses and vet bills, but this money was sent for a specific item of clothing, not for the personal benefit of the seller. I have been very patient, but at this point I feel like a head's up to other potential customers is in order.

I have had problems with her too.
I saw a hoodie that wanted and said I was interested in buying it.
So I sent her pm asking what her address was so I could send the money for the hoodie. Well it turns out that someone else had bought the whole lot. I was not mad as long as I got my refund she sent this in a PM

I will send the payment immediately back to you if in fact it has been mailed.
No worries on that. I will just write return to sender on the envelope for the mailman.

it has been a Month and she has not returned my money

I sent her a PM a couple of days ago with no response

Poor Customer SERVICE IS RIGHT

i am sorry that people get taken advantage of by others, it's upsetting :-( i buy lots of things online and would suggest, for the next time, never send money orders, just use paypal so you're protected against dishonest sellers

As a seller, I only accept Paypal's. It covers me and the buyer. Also, it very easy to refund someone money if something should arise from the transaction.

I've learned Paypal is the best way for me to buy. It's not perfect but it's better than the alternatives.

I hope you both can get your issues resolved quickly.

there have been threads about this person in the past. i'm not sure if things were worked out or not.

i never conduct business with any one on the internet unless they accept paypal. when sending cash, checks, or money orders you are taking a risk that you will not get your item or money refunded.

there is a YT seller review section you might want to post in and PM admin to let them know what has happened.

I've had a similar problem just recently with an on-line pet store. I finally ordered a puppia harness for each of my two as I wanted the step-in ones but had put it off for months waiting for Rosie to grow. I placed the order 4 weeks ago, got immidiate reply, I even double checked the order had gone through. A week later[ long time for delivery in England] no harnesses. I e-mailed them, they said, problem with supplier, sent out in couple of days. I waited another 10 days, still nothing so I e-mailed them again, No reply. Sent another, same story sent out in day or two. Still nothing, so I sent another early last Friday asking for a refund, no reply. Finally threatened them with trading standards, now they're refunding my money. Its the only bad experience I've had so far.

For some reason I was not able to post in the YT seller review section, which is why I posted here. I just want to give a head's up to anyone else who might purchase something from this individual.

It does not appear that she has been posting on YT in October at least, I hope that things are well with her and her family (I don't wish her ill will although I would like my money back) and that that is not the reason for not hearing from her.
