| ![]() Welcome to you and Nacho to YT. First off you just never know what size a Yorkie will end up when fully grown and mature. I've seen some at just over one pound at 14 weeks, end up at over 6 pounds and I've see 3 pound ones at 12 weeks end up at only five pounds. It's very difficult to know the outcome. As for harness verses collar, I would use a harness for walks since the small dogs have such a fragil trachea and pressure on it could cause damage or collapse. Hope we get to meet Nacho real soon. ![]()

| ![]() I never use collars on small dogs. I use step-in harness only for them. Their little necks are too delicate. It sounds like he may end up a bit over 6 lbs. I bet he is a doll! On the potty training, have you tried to wipe up some of his mess with the pad so it smells like urine to him? If he likes it for a bed I would try a different brand that has a different feel to it. Also look at the feel of the bed, perhaps go for something a bit fuzzy or fluffy that he likes better than the pad.
