| ![]() Thanks to everyone who answered my previous questions - but my darling husband has now decided that if we get Lucy (6 months) a little brother, they will (between them) create a 'Yap Fest' for our neighbours. I'm so set on Lucy having a little pal, but equally, I don't want to create problems ... so cananyone (the more the better) convince my dh that having Lucy and a baby will not make our neighbours' lives a misery? Please help!

| ![]() We've got 3 Yorkies. Boo, 6 yrs, Gracie Ruth, 11 months & Yogi, 4 months. All are very talkie, they yammer & yodel & barrooo at us all the time. They carry on the greatest conversations. But it's at a level like normal talking. When they get to play fighting they sound like the whining of dirt bikes. ![]() So no Yap Fest, just honest barking when there is a reason and they are learning that even that has limits. It's all in how you handle it and train them. ![]()

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | ![]() Why would it be a yap fest? I have two and it's not a yap fest unless they hear me come home and are like hey mom. If she is a bit yippy you can work on training her to not be so vocal. Good luck on convincing him.

| ![]() I have 6 dogs. 2 outside that hardly ever bark unless they see something, then they're just warning us, and the 4 inside. The littlest 6 mos old(biewer) never barks, and the other ones bark when someone comes to the door(they hear the doorbell out here, I don't), and when the garage door goes up(again, telling me someone is here) and when hubby lets the 2 big outside dogs loose to run out back(only because they're upset they can't go out too), other than that, I never hear anything out of them. |
