It seems like she is standing great naturally and only veers off when you try to place her into position. Just so you know the "hard stack" is something that breeders train for when their puppy is very young.... even starting at 4wks old. It is done with a lot of love and fun, and rewards. Pet dogs have no need to "stack" into a position. Why would they? Love your dog; she sounds like she is greeting folks quite well. If you feel she lacks confidence, then create lots of mini opportunities for her to meet and greet folks and dogs. My boys are show dogs with different personalities. They have been socialized early, and often to lots of environments and people; and not just the show ring. Training of your dog, especially group training, be it obedience, rally-0, agility or many other performance sports will help instill confidence in your gal, and will create a wonderful bond between you two.

| I meant I wanted her to be more confident. I don't think show dogs have specific personality. I take her a lot of places. Today she went to the bank. She greets people like a confident dog but won't let most people touch her. And I don't carry her every where cause I feel like they have more confidence if they walk rather than be carried. I think buying her was the best thing I've ever done cause I love her more than life it's self. lol |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Interesting. Pixie always carries her tail up and has very nice ear placement and size. I got her at 13 months from a show breeder and she finally decided Pixie was too small for showing. So maybe that is why she has a show dog stance. I never thought of that.
