I was signed up for training at a local hospice but had to miss it because Miss Lula’s paperwork didn’t come back in time. I too am so excited to start doing visits. Good luck and have fun!!!

We're interested in READ but I think you have to be 18 months old to test for that particular program. At 7 months old, Jaeger is still too young for anything, but we'll probably start working with a trainer next month to get him ready for his CGC at least.

This is such a wonderful thing for you and Bentley to do. My daddy was in hospice and they had this GINORMOUS dog that would come in to visit-he was literally almost as tall as I was and I'm 5'4"...but the patients and families loved it. Good luck-I'm sure that Bentley will make you very proud and you both will get so much fulfillment from helping the patients and families.

I'm so proud of you and Bentley for doing this! It's such a lift for those in such terrible shape to get to have a visit from a wonderful dog.
