Unfortunately, not really. He plays with the squeaky toys indoors with me but he's not really into them outside with so much going on. He'll play fetch at my house or in my yard, but take him to a dog park and he could care less. lol

I'm always late finding things! I love that he is taking agility training, because he is perfect for it. He'll do anything to please you and he has no fear that I can see of trying new things. He's super cute running around out there. I'll try to remember to watch this thread for more updates.

Aww, thank you! I'm gonna try to start a new thread every week, or maybe I'll just make one for the next 5 weeks we have left. We're really having fun!

I didn't make a thread for week 4 (or 5.... I'm forgetting what week I am on!)

But wanted to add a little update. I will make a new thread for Week 6 and hopefully get pics/video.

Jackson made me SO proud last weekend. We did off leash work the ENTIRE class, so there were 6 dogs total all off leash together and everyone behaved perfectly. He was focused on me for the entire hour class and never once ran off or wandered off and did all the equipment beautifully.

We have been introduced to more sequences. So first he had to do tire jump, then curved tunnel, then tire jump again, then tunnel one more time all in one. Then he had to do 4 jumps in a row, table, dog walk. The third sequence was a-frame, jump, then tire jump. He did all beautifully. The a-frame is his FAVORITE by far. He voluntarily loves to go up there. lol. Also the jumps... he jumps over all 4 of them even when I don't ask him to

so he clearly loves to jump.

We were first introduced to the teeter last class too, and showed no hesitation. Of course the instructor was holding it so it didn't "bang" down when they are first learning to walk it.... but she began letting the BACK of it 'slam' down after the dog was already hopped off of it so they get used to the noise. He jumped the first time a little bit, but after that he was fine. The trainer is taking the teeter VERY slow. She said her own Lab took 1 1/2 years to get back on it after he jumped on the teeter wrong and it slammed down.

Overall, I'm totally glad we did this class. He's been impressing me over and over again and I'm so glad I'm able to see him growing and learning every class and it's something we BOTH enjoy. He's also made a little doggy friend named Baxter, we've exchanged e-mails with his 'parents' (LOL) so we can set up doggy play dates.

Sounds like Jackson is taking really to agility! I wish I could say my IG puppy were doing so well, but she's still working on getting a full brain.

OMG, I've fallen so far behind!!! It sounds like Jackson is doing GREAT! If his favorite is the A frame and he's not afraid of the teeter, he's home free! Those are the scary ones!

You're doing GREAT! And the vid was a nice bonus for us! I'm so glad he's enjoying it!

I'm still not totally sure on teeter... because trainer has yet to let it drop down with him on it. So we'll see how that goes next class! But so far, so good.

Didn't you say you had some issues with Eddie on the teeter, if I remember correctly? Where that something that happened that scared him off of it? I just want to make sure I don't go too fast.
