The next YorkieTalk Gift Exchange, YT GE XXXIV, our THIRTY FOURTH Gift Exchange, will take place in April 2015. Remember that the person you are giving a gift to MAY or MAY NOT be the same person you are receiving a gift from. You MAY or MAY NOT be paired with a Yorkie of the opposite sex. There is no official theme for this GE.

Please note that the spending minimum is now $40 for your Gift Exchange gift (this does not include shipping), though if you choose to spend more on your Secret Buddy, you may. Please do not expect anything more.

Here is the YT Gift Exchange Rules & Regulations. We now require all participants to be Donating Members (members that have donated $25 or more). If you are ALREADY currently a Donating Member (your usertitle shows Donating Member), this does not apply to you. We must receive your donation before you may sign up for this Gift Exchange. If you want to enter two Yorkies in this Gift Exchange, you must have donated a total of $50 or more.

Please note that you MAY receive a secret buddy in Canada (if you are in the US), and you MAY receive a secret buddy in the US (if you are in Canada). Be prepared to pay a few dollars more in shipping costs if this is the case. If you receive a secret buddy in Europe or overseas, there will be extra shipping costs, thus you will be reimbursed roughly $19 for the extra shipping. We will reimburse you via Paypal or cashier's check after the recipient receives their gift. Also, to save on shipping costs, you may want to keep the package "lighter".

If you are not in the USA or Canada, there is a $20 shipping fee to participate per Gift Exchange. Your Secret Buddy will be reimbursed this $20 fee after you have received your package. This covers the extra costs of shipping international.

This thread is ONLY for SIGNUPS. Do not post any questions or anything else besides sign up in this thread. Please PM us if you have any questions.

You must already have your Yorkie (if you are a new Yorkie parent) by March 1, 2015 to participate in this Gift Exchange.

The signup period will end March 31, 2015. You will receive your Secret Buddy information within THREE DAYS after the end of the signup period. If for some reason you sign up and can not participate in this Gift Exchange, you MUST notify us before the end of the signup period.

You may send gifts starting April 1, 2015. The deadline for sending out gifts will be April 30, 2015.

Please note you must post a "Thank You" thread to your buddy within 2 weeks of receiving your package, unless you notify us in advance (family vacation, emergencies, etc).

Yes she does, we really like many styles and had figured out how to use the rubbernand kind by now probably barrette style is our favorite right now.

Lilah likes squeaky crinkly toys, bouncy squeaky balls, and treat puzzles. Although she has not traditionally been a super food motivated dog she will dig everything out of my bag to get anything that arc naturals makes ( ) and can also be found enjoying other petite, moist treats and some chews (she is not allowed rawhide). Lilah's clothing/decor style is definitely ultra girly, pink and purple, luxe satin red and black with lots of shiny bling- her dog house is a two story pink princess palace, lol.

Hi, I am Lola and I am a 4 year old girly girl, I am so excited to spoil a new buddy

My Measurements (Weight, Height, Length, Neck Size, and Chest Size) -

Length from base of neck to just before the tail starts is 10.5" "

Yorkie's Favorite Things: I love rubber toys that squeak really loud, bounce, but are not to heavy, mom hates the really tiny toys since I tend to push them under the couch then get frantic when I cannot get them out. I do not like soft toys at all, much to moms dismay I just ignore any soft toy she has bought me.

Yorkie's Size of clothing - depending on the brand I am small or x small

Bows: I love bows and need some professional type stiffened bows made from ribbons in solid colors in 5/8" size with rubber band backs. Val's Bows is our favorite. We also like bows made from fabric that match clothing those can have alligator backs or bands.

Clothing style - I am a girly girl and mostly like harness dresses, but someday I would love to try one of those ruffle butt type of pants suits. I am fluffy (mom says hairy) so I tend to get hot so I don't need any more coats or sweaters. I like to go for walks in my dresses so I need a strong d ring on all my clothes. Velcro works well on my dresses if they run horizontal, LOL more adjustment room for those days I am bloated!

My favorite colors - ohhhh I love pink, lavender, yellow, aqua, and red just about any pastel, plus zebra prints, stripes, checks, and hot bright colors. I like dresses with more than one fabric on them. I don't look my best in dark drab earth tone colors, like greens, browns, mustard, etc. We also don't like pop art patterns or clothes with cartoon characters or animals on them, guess I am not a themey girl. But stuff with my name on it is always nice.

Toys: I am a toy addict, if it squeaks, is rubber or latex and if it can be thrown I know I will just LOVE it Mom keeps buying me soft toys which I just ignore, I also don't like rope type pull toys, I like toys I can play fetch with. Mom does not like tiny toys because I push those under the couch and wine until she gets it out for me.

Snacks: Treats, ohhhh I love treats and I am lucky because so far I have no allergies, I love the bill jack liver treats and all the small meat flavored training treats. I even like milk bone type treats but LOL I am not a fan of the fruity stuff like apple or blueberry or oatmeal, I am a meat and fish sort of girl. I love bully sticks but they must be unscented or mom throws them out, we like the longer sized one, probably about 10/12". I am patriotic so only treats made in the US or Canada please.

Mom said I am supposed to tell my buddy anything extra I wanted them to know, well since I don't want my buddy to spend money on stuff I cannot use, I don't need any standard collars, harnesses or blankets and I don't like soft stuffed type toys.

Against my will I am being forced to tell you that we love grooming products, mom would love to try Yorkie Splash and Shine and especially grooming sprays and gels or anything my buddy likes we would like to try.

From Laura 7/8" are fine. . From other bow makers please make sure bows can not be longer then 1.75" with flags. Most 5/8" bows

it varies. What I want to play with this week. I don't the next lol. I do like little ones that I can actually get in my mouth and squeak. I just love the crocheted squeaky toys and chew toys. The Momma says I have lots of energy

Snacks -

I don't get a lot of treats . . The Momma wants me to eat my dinner which is Freeze dried raw food. But when I do I only get Cocotherapy Coconut Chips, Dynamo Dog -skin and coat, Primal Dry Roasted Venison Lung Puffs, Primal Dry Roasted Buffalo Liver Chunks Plato Salmon treats, Preen Wild Salmon dog treats, Stella and Chewy Carnivore Kisses Wild Alaskan Salmon treats or Stella and Chewy Carnivore Crunch Beef Treats they are all very yummy. We are loving the fish treats

Most of her clothes are custom made so its hard to say. Store bought clothes will depend on the brand and fabric. Most of the 100% Cotton in Smalls end up shrinking. So, I would recommend going with a anything in cotton and spandex blend. It has to have lots of Stretch to it !

Yes, her hair is finally growing back in. We have a ton of pony tail holder but would always appreciate more hair pretties, we prefer alligator clips.

* She loves, loves Toys, anything squeaky, soft and chewable.

* She loves toys, prefers soft ones, squeaky ones and chewable ones.
Please No type of Jerky /Chicken or other and Please no Beef lungs / she can not tolerate them.

* She will wear any style clothes, but nothing too heavy weight or to formal. We prefer every day wear but would love to see her in one of those adorable Pant Suits with the ruffles. Made with stretchy fabrics, the last one she got was too small/tight. So, she never got to wear it.

Ruby is strictly a girly girl all the way. Mom thinks she looks great in any colors and we love our animal prints. We prefer not to have any dark colors (No: Navy, Black, Hunter Green)

Our SB should know that Ruby Bella loves being the center of attention and is such a little Diva when it comes to modeling her doggy clothes. We aren't too picky. When it comes to clothes, as long as it was chosen with her in mind we are open to trying new looks and new things. She loves taking car rides, playing in the yard. We always use a harness and have plenty but a new collar for her ID tags is always needed.


We also do all of our own bathing and grooming. We have a variety of grooming supplies but are always adding new or updated supplies. We are however in need of something to add some Shine and help with a Healthy coat.

Charlie Brown is pretty laid back, he has recently taken to chewing sticks from the yard which I frown upon so I found him this treat at Walmart called a bullystck I believe that he loved, Charlie and I are very simple people so please don't feel like you have to spend allot of money, we are in this for the fun of it

We really only do them for pictures like the little photo shoots I set up with her but we prefer barrettes or alligator clips

Yorkie's Favorite Toys, Snacks, Clothing style -
She does not like rubber toys or plastic toys at all. She loves balls soft ones with squeakers are her favorite and even if the ball is to big for her to pick up she will hit it with her nose and with balls plastic and rubber seem to be ok. She likes soft toys that she can grab and throw around, and cuddle with she enjoys big ones and tiny ones and all the sized between. She also likes toys that crinkle. Callie loves clothes! She will even dress herself if you just hold it up for her. She never goes naked unless its really hot and we are outside. She loves dresses, shirts everything. Four legged pj's don't really stay on her for some reason so we don't use those and hoods bother her so we don't do hoodies. Due to her weight and the fact that she has the strength to pull a grown man when she decides to pull we don't normally use clothing with d rings on it.

Yorkie's favorite colors - Pink and Pink! We know we look really good in yellow, black and red too but we are a pinkaholic.

Callie was diagnosed last summer with IBD and put on a prescription diet because it is caused by food allergies. Chicken, beef, turkey and Lamb seem to be an issue. She does ok with Venison, Duck, Salmon, and Rabbit but I make sure any treats or chews we use have very little of other ingredients or no other ingredients. We can't do things with flowery scents because of my breathing issues and other people in the houses issues but we love vanilla scented stuff. We are very picky about collars lol I prefer 3/15" collars but we have started using 1/2" collars. Although we love our buddy belt we have always wanted to try the choke free harness especially for warmer weather when we are nakie. We have lots and lots of blankets but she does loves blankets and soft things. Callie is very chill and easy going. We don't do antlers, bullysticks, or rawhide. Oh and we love the Dallas's cowboys we have a pink jersey though.

molli likes small toys she can carry around in her mouth, squeaky, crinkly or other fun textures are her favs. She can not have those plastic toys, she eats them. Chicken, turkey or any fruits or veggies are favorite snacks. I like to dress her in girly girl stuff.

Molli is also a therapy dog so we are always on the look out for fun and interesting outfits to brighten people's days. I'm excited to try this! It will be our first GE

A little bit about Mylee: Mylee has had moments of ups and downs in her life. She is what I consider a fragile girl. She is fine boned, feels like a feather, (even though she weighs 7 lbs. she looks and feels like she is 3.5 lbs.) and has suffered from Hip Dysplasia as a pup to a recent illness spending 2 weeks in the hospital. She has some severe anxiety issues, but has a fun loving, colorful personality and happily puts up with me. She is my shadow. She has been the most challenging dog I have ever had due to her anxiety but at the same time, the most rewarding because I can see how hard she tries and how training helps her feel more secure. She really doesn’t have any limits as far as diet goes. Right now I am avoiding bully sticks or other hard chews due to her recent illness, but good quality healty biscuit treats are fine.
