General

How many times are you going to do this a year?

We do four Gift Exchanges per year, roughly every three months. The Gift Exchanges will occur in February, May, August, and November. The signups for each Gift Exchange will be in the month before it actually takes place.


How do I Sign-Up?

Everytime there is a Gift Exchange, there will be an official Sign-Up thread that you can sign up in. You can simply post reply with the signup requirements and you will be added to the "Participants List".

Can I sign-up more than one of my Yorkies?

Yes, you can sign up to two of your Yorkies per Gift Exchange. Members must be Donating Members that have donated $25 or more to participate in the Gift Exchange. (If you wish to sign up two Yorkies for a Gift Exchange, you must donate $50 or more). If you are already a Donating Member, this does not apply to you.


During the Gift Exchange

What happens if I cannot send my buddy their gift?

Please PM us as soon as possible


I sent my gift to the wrong address! What do I do?

You can rebuy and resend. To prevent this, please double check the address before you send it out. You are responsible for your Secret Buddy's gift.


Help! I lost my address for my buddy!

Please PM us and we will give it to you again.


After the Gift Exchange

I have not received my gift yet, what do I do now?

Sit tight and try to be patient! We will do everything to make sure everyone has a gift for their Yorkie.

My Secret Buddy lives in Canada or overseas. Is there anything I should be aware of?

PLEASE READ THIS IF YOU ARE SHIPPING TO CANADA OR A NON-USA ADDRESS:

We suggest you use the US Postal Service to mail to Canada or a non-USA address (as UPS and Fedex charges additional fees).

Also, please note to mark your item as a gift, and please do not claim it as more than $60, otherwise your Secret Buddy will have to pay import taxes on it. If you have any questions about this, please contact us. Thank you!

If you are in the USA or Canada and have a Secret Buddy that is NOT in the USA, you will be receiving a $20 payment for the extra shipping costs to ship overseas (either via mail or Paypal) after your Secret Buddy receives their gift. Please PM us AFTER your Secret Buddy receives their gift and we will send a payment promptly. Thank you.

I have not received my gift yet and it has been more than 2 weeks after deadline, what do I do now?

Sit tight, we will have something for you shortly, and your Secret Buddy may face severe consequences. Every participant is guaranteed a gift, YorkieTalk will make sure your Yorkie is not left out!
