The next YorkieTalk Gift Exchange, YT GE XXVII, our twenty seventh Gift Exchange, will take place in February 2012. Remember that the person you are giving a gift to MAY or MAY NOT be the same person you are receiving a gift from. You MAY or MAY NOT be paired with a Yorkie of the opposite sex. There is no official theme for this GE.

Effective January 2012, we have revised some rules of the YorkieTalk Gift Exchange. Please be aware of the new rules. Please note that the new minimum has been raised to $40. Here is the link to the GE Rules & Regulations:

We suggest you use the US Postal Service to mail to Canada or a non-USA address (as UPS and Fedex charges additional fees).

- You have 250 or more posts here at YorkieTalk (before you sign up in this thread).

- You joined YorkieTalk before October 1, 2011.

- Please do NOT send your Secret Buddy any USED toys or clothes. Re-gifting a new item you may have received is fine, but any USED items are not allowed.

Please do not sign up unless you are CURRENTLY a Donating Member.

Please note that the spending minimum is now $40 for your Gift Exchange gift (this does not include shipping), though if you choose to spend more on your Secret Buddy, you may. Please do not expect anything more.

Here is the YT Gift Exchange Rules & Regulations. We now require all participants to be Donating Members (members that have donated $25 or more). If you are ALREADY currently a Donating Member (your usertitle shows Donating Member), this does not apply to you. We must receive your donation before you may sign up for this Gift Exchange. If you want to enter two Yorkies in this Gift Exchange, you must have donated a total of $50 or more.

Here is the YT Gift Exchange FAQ.

Please note that you MAY receive a secret buddy in Canada (if you are in the US), and you MAY receive a secret buddy in the US (if you are in Canada). Be prepared to pay a few dollars more in shipping costs if this is the case. If you receive a secret buddy in Europe or overseas, there will be extra shipping costs, thus you will be reimbursed roughly $19 for the extra shipping. We will reimburse you via Paypal or cashier's check after the recipient receives their gift. Also, to save on shipping costs, you may want to keep the package "lighter".

If you are not in the USA or Canada, there is a $20 shipping fee to participate per Gift Exchange. Your Secret Buddy will be reimbursed this $20 fee after you have received your package. This covers the extra costs of shipping international.

This thread is ONLY for SIGNUPS. Do not post any questions or anything else besides sign up in this thread. Please PM us if you have any questions.

You must already have your Yorkie (if you are a new Yorkie parent) by January 1, 2012 to participate in this Gift Exchange.

The signup period will end January 31, 2012. You will receive your Secret Buddy information within THREE DAYS after the end of the signup period. If for some reason you sign up and can not participate in this Gift Exchange, you MUST notify us before the end of the signup period.

You may send gifts starting February 1, 2012. The deadline for sending out gifts will be February 29, 2012.

Yorkie's Favorite Toys, Snacks, Clothing style - Peyton loves Himalayan chews (that is pretty much the only store bought treat he gets.) He loves small toys that squeak or small tennis balls. He could really use some pajamas. His hair is long, so satin lined ones from T. Bumpkins & Co. would be awesome. He loves harnesses from Fairy Tails Fashion.

Yorkie's favorite colors - Peyton looks awesome in red. We also like fall colors (green, orange, red, etc.)

Yorkie's Favorite Toys, Snacks, Clothing style - Annie loves all treats she can try. We haven't found any allergies. The only things we don't let her have are bully sticks and Rawhides. She loves Nylabone Bacon flavored and CoCo Chips. Her clothing style is girly but not frilly, yet laid back. She plays with any toys we give her.

Shi loves to tease her daddy with the little squeekie toys and loves to tease her fur sibs with skineeze toys. She can steal one of those out of a box or bag faster than you can blink an eye!

Khloe prefers to wear clothes that are functional. She’s not a fan of dresses, but loves to wear coats, fleece jackets, hoodies, t-shirts etc. She has boots, but refuses to wear them.

Khloe is only allowed to eat healthy treats… no rawhides or pig ears… She LOVES bully sticks and soft grain free treats.

Khloe would love to have anything personalized. She has to share a lot with her brother… so things made especially for her would make her very happy!

Khloe also wanted to add that anything she gets from her SB will make her feel very happy! She is laid back and is excited to participate in her first ever YorkieTalk Gift Exchange

Toys: Plush Squeaky Toys small or medium sizes
Snacks: Just about anything, but we prefer Blue Limited Ingredient snacks as I suspect Moka has a chicken/corn allergy. We love Bullies, Himalayan Chews, Texas Toothpicks, and biscuits without chicken/corn.
Clothing Style: Girly but simple. She loves to get dressed up.

Yorkie's favorite colors: - Moka has a pitch black saddle area and looks great in most colors especially bright colors and we LOVE animal prints.

So that’s it, Have fun! Moka is very easy to please and does not need much to make her happy. She loves being pampered and spoiled and she loves beds and blankets when it gets cold (can never have too many). We love supporting YHR. Moka is longer bodied and custom clothing usually fits her better. We are avoiding chicken/corn products right now because I am suspecting an allergy, but otherwise she has no restrictions on ingredients. No rawhide please.

Bryleigh is the sweetest little girl! She is a Shorkie... 3/4 yorkie and 1/4 Shih Tzu....She has 3 fur-brothers who like to pick on her! Her favorite "thing" is a "cat house" we got for Bevo when he was little...It is a cat bed that has a top (like a little tent)...She loves to take her treats and toys and hide in there...but the boys have about squished it to death..I know she would LOVE a new one!! She is a tiny little thing and currently weighs 2.9 pounds...she doesnt have alot of clothes yet, because I just knew she would grow....but hasnt!! She would love some new outfits and dresses! She only has one set of pjs and TBumpkins has her measurements... She would love a new pretty harness too!! She would also love a new comb! Anything our SB sends will be great!! We are not at all picky and just want you to have fun!!! We almost signed her brother "blue born Mack" up this round as he has almost made it to his 1st birthday Febuary 21st! GO MACK!!!

Yorkie's Favorite Toys, Snacks, Clothing style - Sugar hates snacks of all sorts(except for Ziwi Peak dog food, not treats, and the Liva~Littles that I make) and ALL toys (sorry) she is not a player She likes comfy clothes with minimal closures.

Yorkie's favorite colors -We like browns and pinks and oranges and purples and animal prints.....we aren't picky

Anything extra I want my Gift Exchange Pal to know about my Yorkie (please mention anything your Yorkie doesn't like or doesn't want or can't eat) - Sugar is a bit fussy (sorry) 107barney knows Sugar's style and she has learned to work around my bad measurements We can ALWAYS use more potty pads from Cathy as well! Sugar will only eat Ziwi Peak
as a treat(the food~not treats apparently). We use Yorkie Splash & Shine shampoo and conditioner. Sugar loves Cathy's One Piece Jammies, Nightgowns, and T-shirt dresses. We use Choke~ Free brand harnesses (we have pink and brown crocodile). We have recently decided that Sugar COULD manage a Cloud 9 bed.....we had thought before she was too tiny We live on the beach in Florida so we don't need many more warm clothes (we have several pieces for visiting family). We also own several Valentine's items. We would love a sweater from Peachbongi, however, they seem a little lighter weight and beautiful! Sugar is a huge fan of VERY SOFT things We will love whatever you chose for us! Have fun and know that we are having fun shopping for some lucky pup as well......is it you????
