| Our next challenge Any ideas on what we should do next? I really enjoyed how the denim challenge turned out. So, lets start thinking of ideas.

I know my next project is to get a lightweight summer harness done for our trip to the coast of NC if anyone wants to do something say by mid June we could do a summer theme, or a 4th of July theme. One of the gals that I bought stuff from is having a flower or bug contest. (LOL materials that follow that theme), Or a patriotic theme are my two suggestions. I will be doing a harness dress since I seem to like that best, but IMO it could be either dress, vest or even pants.

| maybe Patriotic or nautical since I was thinking several did summer themes, but that was using denim, so maybe it would still be different. LOL just typing out loud as I think I am already planning a nautical piece anyway, I have something new in mind that I want to try, it involves using a new little gadget

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | Maybe it could be a dress this time in a certain color or pattern. A challenge like a floral, striped, animal print or a combination of two. I really think a challenge centered around an up coming Holiday would be fun. Im not sure how soon I would be up to doing another challenge. I do have some sewing to finish up in order to fulfill my commitment to ladyjane and YHR. So I may be able to get something done. But I think one every other month would be doable for me. But thats just me, some of you ladies are more into the sewing than I am. If I don't join in you can bet I'll be watching on the sidelines.

| IDK about that, now that would be a challenge for me. I have no idea how to make legs or sleeves or I guess I could make Lola a strapless negligee(sp) is that spelling right does not look right but it did not come up in spell check

| What about a Patriotic theme - 4th of July for those of us in the States, Canada Day for our members way up north and perhaps something to commerate the Queen's Birthday for our members across the big pond. I also like the idea of a lightweight summer harness vest. I'm not sure about the Jammies - lol - they scare me. I also like the dress theme - maybe we could really let our creative juices flow and make matching dresses and harness vests to that the boys won't be left out. |

| why don't we see how many would be interested if the cut off was say June 15 that is about 5 weeks or more from now, this way we could vote for either a summer or a patriotic theme, or like Dawn says even get more specific. At least if we have a cut off date to shoot for people will know if they have enough time. Dawn you could do a dress for Linda/YH that fits the theme so that would help you time wise. jamies might be a great idea fall choice. Oh another idea for future is to repurpose something into a dog outfit. I have some great Christmas napkins and placemats that are in a draw waiting to be made into something for Lola. LOL maybe we can have a duck tape or candy wrapper challenge......................................... ................ LOL just kidding but sometimes you see that on the TV where people have made outfits out of that stuff.

YT 2000 Club Member | Oh come on...it is a challenge! I do like the idea of patriotic theme or a summer theme like lady bugs, watermelon, daisies, flip flops, palm trees, shades...... Now that sounds like some adorable dresses or vests could come out of it......Lazy days of Summer!

| I think I like the idea of summer theme. They can be dresses, vests, pants, whatever. I think June 15 is a good cut off too. I am definitely in again. I plan to make several this time, since I got sick and could only finish one denim vest.

YT 2000 Club Member | If you did go with the "Lazy Days of Summer"theme, you could extend it to swim suits, sun dresses, vests, bandannas, etc.....just throwing it out there! another idea is Hello Kitty.....I know that is a popular item lately, but a little on the girly side.
