Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | Happy Saturday! Hey guys! Anyone getting crafty this weekend? I have lots to do and hope to get a lot done this weekend. I will have to stop to watch a bit of football, but other than that, I plan on sewing. How about you? Anything new to share? Show us what you've been working on.

| I'm not usually crafty? Haha. But I made this for a baby gift. I'm pretty proud of myself! . It's a diaper wreath! ef273abdded92720c2e4a1c3ab0e5206.jpg

| There will not be much crafty stuff going on here for a bit. My PFAFF sewing machine died today. I almost burst into tears,Ive made sooooo many things on this machine. I have another machine exactly like this one,it was my mothers, but it hasnt been used in 6yrs or so years. It must go to the shop for a spa day before I can really use it. I guess I will spend my time cutting out some dresses and winter jumpers for Mina. |

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | What a beautiful wreath! That is so cute! Was it hard to make? I've always wanted to give those a try but never worked up the courage or had a baby shower to make one for. But I do love them! Oh no!!!! I'm so sorry to hear about your sewing machine! I would of cried too. I hope your other one has a speedy spa day so you can get back to creating.

| Trust me, if I can make it you can! Lol! It was really easy. It didn't take me long to make either. I would be glad to share how I did it f any one wants me too. I think the only problem I see is wrapping it!

| Thank you, I hope that it will run well too. Im hoping that between the two machines I can have one good machine,or I will be shopping. I own several vintage machines that I can sew on but the newer machine makes it easier to sew on things with tight turns. So Im not dead in the water on sewing, just moving alot slower. I decided to work on pattern drafting and cutting out a stack of things to make. The wreath is lovely! I really like the fun gifts that can be made from diapers. I havent seen a wreath before. Good luck finding just the right wrapping for it. |

And I would love to see instructions on the diaper cake!!! That would be so cool! I would love to get pregnant myself right now...you think I could make myself one or would that be against the rules? LOL. You guys sew any today? I got 4 dresses done. I'm hoping to get 4 more and 2 harnesses done tomorrow. Then this week I've got more dresses, a few harnesses, a couple tutu's, a pantsuit, and a carrier planned. Then hopefully this weekend I can work on making new things for Mollie. I sent her to my Moms with several of Katie Scarlett's old things, but I want her to have new things of her own too. She is such an angel. I gotta share pix of her soon. Bless her little heart! She definitely needed rescuing! My parents have given her such a good home. She is already spoiled rotten!

| Ok let's see if I can make sense here. You need the follow: Wood craft ring Curling ribbon (I used shiny silver) Package of diapers Toys I used rattles teethers and stuffed animal Wide ribbon (I used pink with white dots) Thin ribbon (I used pink) Bow Scissors Start with the diapers and ring. Put the diaper on the ring with the open side facing out. Take the curling ribbon and tie the diapers on. Push the diapers close together to give a full appearance. I think I used about 25 diapers. After they are all attached, I "curled" the excess length on the ribbon. I then took the wide ribbon and weaves it though the diapers. This made it show on every other diaper. Next I decorated it. I used the thin ribbon to attach everything. And really, that was it! Let me know if I don't make sense on something. There are lots of different ones out there on Google.
