| Can she be pregnant? Is it possible to my dog to be pregnant with no signs at all? She's supposedly due in 12 days, or so, and shows no signs at all. Of course she could NOT BE pregnant, I know that... but, if she is, is it possible that there are no symptoms of pregnancy at all? She doesn't look fatter, her nipples are no different, she doesn't eat or sleep more than usual... What could I look for to know if there are actually puppys on the way? |

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | Is it possible? Sure, I suppose it is possible, as long as she was bred with an intact male. However, from what you've described my guess is she isn't. From my experience (which isn't alot - just 2 litters), I would think that you would see some sort of change, be it ever so small. My female just had a singleton litter (one puppy) 5 weeks ago, and I had an idea she was PG as early as 4 weeks along by a change in her eating habits. She didn't look very PG even near the end, but there was surely something. If you aren't seeing any change at all, she's most likely not PG. With just 12 days to go, I would think you would be seeing some movement by now also. But the only way to be absolutely sure would be a visit to your vet.

| I took my dog to the vet the week before she gave birth and the vet said she ABSOLUTELY was not pregnant!!! Well we have a puppy. You should be prepared for whatever the outcome is my best advice to ya. |
